Chapter 2467

Liberty read between the lines of Audrey’s suggestion and nodded with a smile. “I hope my food will be

served all over the country one day.”novelbin

“Liberty, that day will come,” Serenity cheered.

She had complete faith in Liberty’s ability to pull it off.

Audrey laughed and said, “All women of Fishers are capable.”

Especially the eldest daughter.

If it had not been for their family’s demise decades ago, Liberty would have been the matriarch of the

Fisher family.

The women in the Fisher family were all capable.

Caroline Fisher was a good example. She pretended to be weak and deceived the entire family.

Perhaps the only person who could see through Caroline’s act was her biological mother, Belinda.

Serenity hesitated to speak and she kept mum till the end.

She was fully aware that her sister was capable but becoming the matriarch of the Fisher family might

be very intense. After all, it involved grudges across two generations.

The current matriarch was so cruel as to kill her elder sister, who had raised her. She also did not let go

of her two nieces, Lisa and Audrey. However, Lisa and Audrey were lucky enough to not be killed. Even

though they grew up in an orphanage and led a tough life, they survived.

Lisa was later adopted and encountered other setbacks. After marrying Scott, Lisa had a stable and

happy life. In Serenity’s memory, her parents had a loving and close relationship.

Old Mr. and Mrs. Hunt disliked Lisa for giving birth to two girls. Lisa and Scott did not have more

children and had never mistreated their two daughters.

Lisa and Scott loved Liberty and Serenity wholeheartedly.

If they had not died in the car accident, Serenity believed that her parents could have had a lasting

marriage. Liberty and Serenity would not have had to endure so much hardship when they were

younger. They would have grown up in a loving family.

The source of their misery was Belinda Fisher.

“It’s getting late, Seren. You should go home and rest since you’re pregnant,” Audrey urged Serenity.

“I’m not tired.

“I want to eat dinner here, Aunt Audrey. Don’t kick me out so soon!”

Audrey smiled and said, “Okay. You can stay for dinner, but you must go home and rest afterward. I’ll

prepare some nutritious meals for Alice and get them sent to the hospital.”

Audrey got up and walked away to prepare a delicious meal for her daughter-in-law.

Elisa went to help.

Serenity knew that they would not let her help out in the kitchen, so she did not follow them. Instead,

she said, “Liberty, will you take a walk with me?”

“Sure!”
