Chapter 2466

Zachary had been reading up on pregnancy and knew that pregnant women should get enough

exercise. It was not healthy to stay in bed or sit still all day.

“Don’t worry, Aunt Audrey.”

Audrey was happy with her niece’s husband and sighed when she looked at Liberty. Serenity was lucky

to have met Zachary, who pampered her after they were married.

On the other hand, Audrey felt sorry for Liberty.

Liberty had a failed marriage with a vile man. After the divorce, Liberty led a better life and even had a

sincere admirer—Duncan. However, Duncan got into a car accident and was undergoing rehab for his

broken legs. No one knew when Duncan would fully recover.

If Duncan could not recover fully, Audrey would not approve of Liberty and Duncan being together

because Liberty had suffered enough in her previous marriage. She was hoping Liberty could be as

happy as Serenity for the remainder of her life with her soulmate, rather than get dragged down by a

disabled person.

Audrey was just a pragmatic and selfish person, wanting what was best for her niece.

Before Duncan got into the car accident, Duncan’s mother, Corey, did not agree to Duncan and Liberty

being together for selfish reasons.

After Duncan became disabled, Corey begged Liberty to accept her son.

Audrey was Liberty’s aunt, so she only hoped that Liberty could have the best things in life.

However, Audrey did not speak her mind. Duncan was working hard on regaining strength in his legs,

and the doctor said that he had a chance to stand up again and make a full recovery.

Seeing that Liberty had feelings for Duncan, Audrey thought it was best to let nature take its course.

“How are things going with you and Duncan recently?” Audrey asked Liberty softly.

Liberty smiled and said, “He’s doing well. He goes to rehab every morning and the office in the

afternoons. Sometimes, he has social engagements that he can’t get out of in the evenings. If I’m free,

he’ll ask me to accompany him.”

It was beneficial for Liberty to accompany Duncan to his social engagements now that she had her own

business. She could learn a lot from him.

“Well, that’s good to hear!”

Audrey did not ask more and just said, “Tell me if you need help with anything. As long as I’m alive, I

will always support you and Seren.”

“Thank you, Aunt Audrey. I’m doing well now. The breakfast diner and the restaurant have good

business. After I’ve recovered my capital, I plan to expand All You Can Eat, raise the standards, andnovelbin

open a branch.”

Her goal was to create a restaurant chain with her existing brand, All You Can Eat.

Liberty also wanted to invest in a hotel outside of Wiltspoon because she knew that Wiltspoon was the

Yorks’ territory and that she could not compete with them. She did not want to become business rivals

with her family members.

If she stole their business, she would not have a sense of accomplishment, so it was better to develop

her business elsewhere. That way, she could take pride in defeating her competitors.

“Well, you and Seren are both successful women. I’m not worried about you two. Perhaps you can

develop your business in Jensburg.”

Audrey had not forgotten about avenging her parents.

However, she had been busy with Serenity’s wedding and Alice’s delivery, so she had yet to take action

against the Fishers in Jensburg.
