Chapter 2463

The door to the delivery room opened and everyone waiting gathered around.

A nurse held the baby and asked Clive with a smile, “Are you Alice Lafayette’s family member?”

“I am her husband. Has she given birth? How is my wife? Can I go in and see her? When can she

come out?”

Clive asked multiple questions regarding his wife.

Liberty was standing behind the crowd. Seeing how much Clive cared about Alice, she sighed in relief,

knowing that Alice had married the right person.

The nurse answered Clive. “Your wife is in good condition. She gave birth to a boy. Both mother and

child are safe. The baby is 7.3 pounds. Your wife will be out shortly. Here’s the baby.”

Clive was relieved to hear that Alice and the baby were safe.

Everyone had smiles on their faces when they heard what the nurse said. They were also excited to

see the little one.

Clive took his son from the nurse’s arms. He looked at his newborn son and handed the baby to his

mother-in-law, Felicity. He said, “Mom, you can take the baby back to the ward first. I’ll wait for Alice.”

Felicity carried her grandson and smiled brightly because her grandson resembled her daughter. She

said, “I’ll wait for Alice here too.”

Although she had her grandson in her arms, she did not want to leave her daughter alone.

Felicity handed her grandson to Audrey and Darrell before asking them to take the baby back to the

ward.

After the baby came out, half of the people waiting outside the delivery room had left.

Audrey and Liberty went over to the postpartum recovery ward to see the baby and quickly returned to

the delivery room to wait for Alice.

Elisa, Darrell, and Remy were in the ward looking after the baby.

Soon after, Zachary arrived with Serenity.

“Aunt Audrey, Liberty.”

Serenity asked, “Has Alice given birth?”

“Serenity, why are you here? You’re pregnant and on your honeymoon, so you should be relaxing. Alice

gave birth to a boy. He’s 7.3 pounds. Both mother and child are safe,” Audrey chided her niece and told

her the good news.

Audrey was in a very good mood after welcoming a newborn into the family.

She said to Zachary, “Why did you bring your grandmother here? It’s troublesome for the elderly to

travel so far.”

Grandma May smiled and said, “I’m in good health, so don’t worry! I just wanted to come over and join

in on the fun. Congratulations on having a new grandson!”

The old lady wanted to know whether the Stones were expecting a grandson or a granddaughter. In

fact, she had guessed by looking at Alice’s belly that it was a boy.

“I’m fine, Aunt Audrey. I should pay a visit to Alice and her newborn. Congratulations!”

Serenity smiled and congratulated the Stones.

Zachary also congratulated Clive.

Clive smiled, but he was still staring at the delivery room.

Audrey said, “Clive is just worried about Ally, so he’s not in the mood to talk. I hope you don’t mind.”

“I understand.”

Zachary expressed his understanding.

Clive was known to dote on his wife. Clive and Alice had been married for many years before they

decided to have a child. When Alice suffered from morning sickness during her pregnancy, Clive felt so

distressed for his wife that he almost wanted to abort the baby.novelbin

Finally, the baby was born. Clive was happy, but at the same time, he felt even more sorry for his

beloved wife.
