Serenity sat up and hugged Zachary. “It must’ve been tough on you, babe.”
“Anything for you. I hope you can leave all the hard work to me. I want you to have a happy life without
worries.”
“Do you think I’m Sonny, who has nothing to worry about? Alright, go wash up. We’ll be having lunch
soon. Everyone’s up already. Aren’t you hungry after sleeping for the entire morning?”
Serenity nudged and urged him to get ready.
Zachary got off the bed reluctantly and walked toward the bathroom. He said, “You’ve become less
clingy, Seren. In the past, you’ve always wanted to spend an hour in the room with me. Now you’re
urging me to leave just after a few minutes.”
Serenity was speechless and embarrassed.
Whenever she woke him up in the past, they would spend up to an hour in the room before heading out
because he would convince her to make babies with him.
Despite his serious appearance, he was passionate in bed. She was unable to resist him and would
end up begging him to let her go.
“Seren, can you get a set of clothes for me to change into?”
Serenity got off the bed without saying a word and started choosing his outfit.
Now that he was on wedding leave, he did not have to dress up formally. She took a set of casual wear
for him.
His clothes were relatively simple. Serenity picked a white short-sleeved shirt and long black pants. He
only wore shorts when he was working out.
Serenity bought him cropped pants, but he rarely wore them because he did not like to expose his legs.
Through that, she found out that her man actually cared a lot about his appearance and stopped buying
that kind of pants for him thereafter.
“Falls in Wiltspoon are hot. Shorts are clearly a better choice, yet you refuse to wear them. Even Kevin
was willing to dress in women’s clothing for Hayden. You didn’t even try wearing the cropped pants I
bought for you,” Serenity nagged as she passed him the clothes.
“Kevin wore women’s clothes?”
Zachary was unaware of that.
He stuck his upper body out of the door and revealed his shirtless, muscular torso. It seemed like he
was trying to tempt his wife.
Unfortunately, since they had been married for a year, that did not work on Serenity. She said, “I heardnovelbin
about it from Hayden. We get along well.”
“Why didn’t Kevin tell me? Did he really wear women’s clothing? He’s really going all out to get his girl.
They’re all making me pale in comparison.”
After speaking, Zachary closed the bathroom door and changed into the clothes Serenity brought him.
It was his usual outfit.
Serenity bought him shorts before and told him to wear them on his days off as it would be cooling. He
could not get used to wearing them and complained to her about it. Since then, he no longer saw any
shorts.
Even if he wanted to wear a pair of shorts, he probably could not find any. Serenity had most likely
given them away.
Who did she give the shorts to?
“Seren.”
Zachary exited the bathroom and asked, “Where did the shorts you bought me go?”
“I returned them to the store and got a refund. You didn’t want to wear them anyway.”
Zachary breathed a sigh of relief. It was good that she returned the shorts instead of giving them to
another man.
