Julian suddenly understood why Zachary fell in love with Serenity after their marriage. He must have
experienced a simple life that he never did before, and the fresh excitement soon turned into addiction.
That was probably why he kept his identity a secret from Serenity.
Julian pondered on when he should tell Quinn the truth.
He could not possibly follow Zachary’s footsteps.
Even Serenity, who was mild-tempered, got so furious that she wanted to get a divorce after
discovering Zachary’s lie. He had a nasty shock.
Quinn always had a clear stand on her likes and dislikes. Although she looked easygoing, she could be

Zachary’s brothers and cousins dared not hide their identities like he did when pursuing their future
brides. They were honest from the get-go out of fear of ending up like Zachary.
“Mr. Bucham?” Quinn called Julian, puzzled, as he was staring straight at her without even blinking.
He snapped back to his senses.
“I got lost in my thoughts,” Julian said embarrassedly.
Quinn was curious. “What got you so engrossed?”
He did not even react despite her calling him several times. She almost tapped him.
If it were her brothers or other gym coaches acting like that, she would have slapped them right away.
“I thought of a friend’s experience. What if someone lied to you for a long time, Ms. Crawford?
However, that person had some personal reasons for doing so. Will you forgive that person after
knowing the truth?”
“Regardless of the reason, lying is wrong. No one wants to be deceived, let alone for a long period, so
of course they’ll get angry. If they really have to lie, they should make it so that they aren’t found out at
all. If they plan on revealing the truth later on, then they shouldn’t have lied in the first place.”
Quinn added, “You should give your friend some advice. If he doesn’t intend to keep it a secret forever,
it’s best to come clean to the people he lied to earlier and ask for their forgiveness.”
Julian smiled and said, “You have a point there. I’ll let my friend know.”
Since he managed to understand Quinn’s boundaries, he would tell her everything after taking her back
to Summervale.
He most likely could not go to the Crawfords’ gym after coming clean.
His true intention was never about learning martial arts. His skills were probably on par with Quinn’s.
While it was hard to decide on a winner as they had never fought each other before, he felt they were
equally good when he witnessed her skills that night.
His courting plans would have to change if he could no longer train at Power Fitness.
Upon recalling Quinn’s words, Julian gave up on taking a shortcut. He could not lie because she might
leave him after finding out. If that happened, there was a possibility that he would go crazy like Zachary
to stop her from leaving.
