Chapter 2400

Quinn said with a smile, “My mom will get adventurous with food sometimes, but she prefers the

familiar healthy choices.”

Locals in Summervale had a taste for rich, flavorful food.

Zoey, a northerner with a taste for bland food, eventually influenced the rest of the family to adopt her

culinary preferences.

Of course, Zoey was not selfish. She considered her husband and children's love of flavorful food and

would try new dishes every couple of days. However, she could not bring herself to eat the food as it

did not sit well with her stomach.

Dave felt bad for his wife and told everybody to get takeaways if they had cravings.

“So Mrs. Crawford is from the north like me. No wonder I felt a connection to her right away.”

It dawned on Julian.

Julian knew where Zoey was from, but he did not feel it was polite to ask her about it during their first

meeting.

Zoey came from a town far from Wiltspoon. The area had no public transportation, so Zoey would have

to drive for hours to get back to her hometown from the city.

Quinn said with a smile, “My mom feels the same way about you. She is fond of you.”

Truth be told, Zoey would be thrilled to see Will and Mark bringing home girlfriends, and Quinn bringing

home a boyfriend.

Julian did not need to know that, so Quinn said nothing. Julian and Quinn hit it off right away and got

along like they were old friends, but they had only known each other for a few days.

Julian was not one to take things for granted.

“You can enjoy glasses of alcohol when you attend the wedding with me in Wiltspoon,” Julian suddenly

said.

With her eyes lighting up, Quinn said gleefully, “That’s right. I was jealous of my dad and brothers just

now, but it’ll be their turn to be envious of me. That reminds me. Did you talk to my dad about it, Mr.

Bucham?”

“Yes. He said that you’re an adult. You can make your own decisions.

“You have very open-minded parents, Ms. Crawford.”

“I do. Although my mom is stricter than my dad, she’s sensible. When are we going to Wiltspoon?”

Quinn believed she could have become Serenity’s bridesmaid if she had rescued Julian sooner.

She was excited just to be in close contact with someone who was like the female protagonist of her

favorite romance novels.

“We can set off tomorrow afternoon. I’ll book the flight tickets later. I’ll need details of your personal

information to book the flights together.”

“I can book my flight if you let me know the departure time.”

Quinn did not want to give out her personal information to Julian as they had only known each other for

a few days. She knew that Julian was the CEO of a major corporation and that he was a good man.

Still, Quinn needed to get along with him longer to make sure she could trust him.

“Sure, but I’m covering your return flight and accommodation in Wiltspoon. I invited you to go to the

wedding, so it’s only fair that I pay for your trip. I would feel bad if I didn’t.

“It’s the least I can do for you. People might think I’m ungrateful if I make my lifesaver pay out of

pocket.”

Quinn replied, “In that case, I appreciate your offer.novelbin

“Mr. Bucham, you don’t have to keep talking about the incident. I saw someone in need and lent a

hand. That’s all.”

Julian said earnestly, “It’s not a huge deal to you, but I owe you my life.”

Quinn choked, at a loss for words.

She took Julian to a nearby high-end hotel. Quinn waited until Julian checked in to the hotel before

leaving.
