Chapter 2374

Carrie would soon be forgotten by the world. Once she finished serving her sentence, it would be hard

for her to make a comeback.

Camryn did not plan on letting her half-sister get away with the multiple setups; returning the favor, an

eye for an eye. She thought she was being kind by not doing worse to Carrie.

While Trenton and Camryn were talking, Callum was cooking in the kitchen.

Trenton inhaled the delicious aroma and said, “I’m impressed with Callum’s cooking, Camryn. The food

smells so good. I’m starving."

Camryn grinned. “He makes delicious food. Nana is a social elite like no other. She has a different

approach in raising kids. Callum, his brothers, and his cousins all can cook, thanks to her.

“Nana forced her grandsons into the kitchen so she could have any food she wanted. But really, she

was teaching them to be independent. No one knows how long wealth will last in the family, so it’s best

to learn some skills.

“At least they can be independent enough to take care of themselves and survive out there in the

world. I heard that Austin is the best cook in the family. Austin is Callum’s brother.”

Austin was the most low-key person. Camryn had not met him yet.

When Camryn and Callum were engaged, Austin was away in a cooking competition. He could not

make it back in time for their engagement party.

However, Austin would be attending Zachary and Serenity’s wedding that was in two days.

Even Serenity had minimal contact with Austin.

The only time most of the York boys were gathered was when the Browns took Sonny to another town

before Liberty was divorced. Austin was in Wiltspoon at the time, and he was part of the rescue team

that brought Sonny back.

Serenity was preoccupied with Sonny back then, so she did not pay much attention to Austin.

Trenton said with a smile, “Grandma May is well known for her wits in Wiltspoon. Everybody said that

Grandma May’s husband is lucky to marry her.”

The Yorks owed their family success to Grandma May.

She had raised her sons and grandsons to be upstanding men, and even chose potential wives for her

grandsons, hoping that the family would prosper for generations to come.

All she wanted was to keep the peace in the family.

Grandma May lived a life of wisdom and understanding.

Trenton wished to marry someone who would work hard and make the family proud. He did not want to

end up like his father and uncle, who were manipulated by his mother.

Even though Paige gave birth to him, Trenton could not go against his conscience and call her a good

woman.

Abel married an infidel wife and lost his wife. Although Cain was alive, he was in hot water because ofnovelbin

the same woman.

“I’ll go check on Callum’s cooking. The food smells so good.”

Trenton got up and went into the kitchen.

Callum looked over at the sound of footsteps, and he saw Trenton.

He said, “Dinner will be ready soon, Trenton. If you're hungry, you can have a snack, but don’t eat too

much or you won't be able to finish your dinner.”

“What did you make, Callum? I could smell something delicious from the living room. I’m starving.”

Callum smiled. “I didn’t make much, but it’s Camryn’s favorite.”

Trenton made fun of Callum. “I’m barely home. You should have cooked my favorite food to celebrate

my return.”

“You’re not a picky eater. You’ll eat anything, even if it’s not Camryn's favorite.”
