Chapter 2370

So what if Dr. Carden was the legendary doctor’s best disciple?

He was still human and there were bound to be illnesses and complex conditions that he could not

cure.

“Trenton, Trenton.”

Amy and Brenda were delighted to see Trenton behind Camryn. Their nephew was easier to talk to

compared to their niece.

In the past, they would join Cain and Paige in bullying and abusing Camryn. Despite knowing Camryn

was a victim, they remained as bystanders and wished for her death.

That said, Camryn’s hatred and desire for revenge was understandable.

In contrast, Amy and Brenda loved their one and only nephew.

Prior to joining the fight for inheritance, they had hoped the Newman family could become more

influential. That way, they could each hold more authority in their husband’s family and no one would

have dared to look down on them.

“Stop calling Trenton. He has no say in this.”

Camryn walked over and talked to her aunts with the gates between them.

Callum was not with her because she said she could settle the matter herself. As a result, he went to

the kitchen to start preparing lunch for his fiancée.

Thinking Camryn was still blind, Amy and Brenda shot her vicious and resentful glares.

“You don’t have to glare at me like that.”

Camryn added coldly, “It must be tiring to keep that up.”

Brenda was rendered speechless. She shoved her hand through the grills of the gates and waved in

front of Camryn’s eyes.

“I can see, Aunt Brenda. You can stop shaking your hand. You’ve changed. You used to have a nice

figure, but you look shorter and fuller now.”

Brenda was the shortest among her siblings. She ignored Camryn’s sarcasm as she was in shock.

“You can see?”novelbin

Was Dr. Carden that skilled? It had not been long since she started treating Camryn’s eyes and yet,

she had accomplished what many other eye specialists could not do in such a short period.

“Are you surprised?”

Camryn smiled. “You must be disappointed.”

Amy nudged Brenda and started talking before Brenda could say something else.

“Camryn, it’s great that you regained your vision. Your mom was terrible. How could she poison you

and make you blind? You’re her daughter.

“Although we knew about it, we couldn’t do anything. You must be aware that your mom’s involved in

some shady business. If we helped you, she would’ve killed our families.

“We’re sorry.

“No matter what, we’re still your aunts. As close relatives, please don’t drive us into a corner.

“Give us a chance to survive. We promise not to bother the Newman family or fight for any inheritance.

We’ll stay away from you if you’re willing to let us off the hook.”

Brenda nodded vigorously in agreement.
