Chapter 2358

At first, Corey was against her son getting together with Liberty. She did not like that Liberty was a

divorcee with a child.

Duncan later got into a car accident. Corey then hoped that Liberty would accept Duncan into her

heart.

While the pair had not officially started dating, everybody in Wiltspoon saw them as a couple.

No one would dare steal Duncan’s woman.

It was said that Liberty’s ex-in-laws had been trying to get Liberty and Hank back together. However,

she would never give her cheating and abusive ex-husband a second chance.

“I’m Harvey, Harvey Gray.”

Harvey was, in fact, the man who had been drinking heavily after being dumped. He would pass out

drunk anywhere in the neighborhood of East Hill Apartments. He would also leer at any young women

who passed by.

Since meeting Liberty, Harvey had stared at Liberty for days until she moved out of East Hill

Apartments. He had never seen her again.

Now that Harvey had stopped drinking, he decided to get his act together and pursue Liberty.

Harvey put on new clothes, trimmed his hair, and shaved his beard. He was a new person. Harvey

bought flowers and took a bold step to go to Liberty’s establishment.

As Liberty and her son had lived in East Hill Apartments for quite some time, Harvey could easily get

her information and was well-aware that Liberty’s sister was the wife of the wealthiest man in the city.

Harvey was genuinely interested in Liberty and wanted to get to know her better. He was not motivated

by her money or social status.

He did not mind that Liberty had been married before or that she had a child. If Liberty was willing to

give him a chance, Harvey would treat her son as his own.

The server took another glance at the bouquet Harvey was holding and replied, “Please hang on for a

moment, Mr. Gray. Ms. Hunt is a busy woman. I can’t promise she will see you.”

Harvey was understanding. “It’s okay. I’ll wait here. Can you please check with Ms. Hunt? Thank you.”

The server turned around and headed to Liberty’s office.

She knocked on the door and entered when Liberty gave her permission.

The server left the office in less than two minutes. She approached Harvey and said, “Mr. Gray, Ms.

Hunt said she doesn’t know you. Please leave unless you’re here to talk business.”

Harvey fell silent for a moment before replying, “Sorry for the request, but could you let Ms. Hunt know

that I live in East Hill Apartments? I scared Ms. Hunt one night and the morning after, after having too

much to drink. I’m here to apologize to her.”

The server went back to knock on Liberty’s office door.

Soon, the server returned and uttered, “Mr. Gray, Ms. Hunt invites you to her office.”novelbin

Harvey thanked the server and carried the flowers to Liberty’s office.

Liberty was reviewing the wedding menu as Serenity’s maid-of-honor. Once she was sure everything

was in order, she closed the file.

She lifted her head when Harvey knocked and entered her office. Looking at Harvey’s face now, she

found it hard to believe that the man was the scary drunkard.

The man looked handsome after tidying himself up. Of course, he was not in the same league as

Zachary and Josh.

“Hello, Ms. Hunt. I’m Harvey Gray. We met before in East Hill Apartments,” Harvey introduced himself.

Liberty got up. “Hello, Mr. Gray. Please have a seat.”

Harvey did not immediately sit down. He first handed the bouquet of flowers to Liberty. He looked deep

into Liberty’s eyes and said apologetically, “Ms. Hunt, I’m sorry to scare you and your child the other

day. I was drinking heavily after my girlfriend left me for someone richer, and I wasn't thinking clearly.

My reckless behavior had been a menace to everybody.”
