Chapter 2339
“Mr. Bucham.”
Julian had brought along two bodyguards to act as drivers. With Julian stepping out of the hotel, they
immediately drew close. They were instructed not to tell Quinn that Julian was the heir to the Bucham
family for fear of scaring her away.
The bodyguards believed Julian was paranoid as his future wife feared nothing.
Quinn would not be afraid to learn who Julian was.
Julian gave a nod and told Quinn, “My car can’t fit everybody, so I hired two drivers. We can all travel
comfortably in three cars instead of one.”
“Thank you for going through all that trouble, Mr. Bucham. You have everything thought out.”novelbin
Julian grinned. “It was no trouble at all. You weren’t afraid about getting into trouble when you saved
me. You didn’t even know me then. All I did was help with the logistics and the pleasure’s all mine.”
Quinn smiled. “Alright. We should stop thanking each other like we’re strangers. I’m not used to it.”
She would rather cut to the chase.
The pair watched as the children got into two vehicles. Quinn then followed Julian to his car.
Julian opened the car door for her, and she was about to thank him again when she remembered what
she just said. Smiling at Julian, she skipped the pleasantries.
Once Quinn fastened her seat belt, Julian got into the car and started the engine. They soon left
Wiltspoon Hotel.
During the journey, Julian introduced Quinn to the fun spots around Wiltspoon like a tour guide.
She was intrigued but lamented, “I’ll only be here for another two days before I need to return home.
The kids’ parents miss them.”
Julian said, “You can come here alone if you have time. Enjoy a nice vacation for a week or two. Give
me a call beforehand, and I’ll take care of your accommodation. I’ll be your host and take you to enjoy
the local scenes and food.”
“I don’t want to bother you,” Quinn declined.
Julian replied with a smile, “If your dad accepts me as a student at your family gym, I’ll be like family to
you. Don’t be shy to accept a family’s hospitality.”
Quinn said, “Well, my dad has to accept you as a student first.”
“I’m sure he would.” Julian was confident.
The pair had a pleasant conversation, and the hour-long journey flew by.
Julian stopped the car at the foot of the hill of Wildridge Manor. He wound down the window and
pointed at the flowers and nearby orchards. He said, “The land here belongs to the Yorks too. They
grow fruits and vegetables for their own consumption. They eat healthily.
“The flowers are for both aesthetic and commercial purposes. Florists from all over get their supplies
here. The orchards grow Wiltspoon’s seasonal fruits, which are then supplied to all hotels under York
Corporation.”
The hotels required a lot of fresh fruits for the guests. Since the Yorks grew more than they could
consume, the produce would go to the hotels.
“Do you want to get out of the car to look around?”
