Chapter 2310

Even if Madam Fisher wanted Caroline to gain some experience in overcoming tribulations, she would

not risk Caroline’s life.

If the car had been hit by other cars when it broke down, it would be challenging to ensure that Caroline

was unscathed.

Madam Fisher might have seemed like she still favored Celine and mistreated Caroline, but she

prioritized blood relations. Caroline was her biological daughter, who had finally returned to her. She

would not risk Caroline’s life, no matter how ruthless she was.

“That’s Caroline’s problem. We can just stand by and watch. Let’s not interfere.”

If Kevin were the one who had met Caroline on the way, he would not have helped her.novelbin

He supported Serenity.

Caroline’s mother, Madam Fisher, was most likely the person who murdered Serenity’s grandmother.

Hayden did not speak as she was aware of Kevin’s stance.

“Is Hugh back?”

“No.”

Kevin added, “Donnie and Sophia aren’t home too. We’re the only ones having dinner tonight.”

He would have arrived earlier to prepare a romantic candlelight dinner if he had known Donnie and

Sophia were not around.

Hayden frowned. She had called beforehand to inform her parents that she would be back for dinner.

They agreed, yet were absent when she was back.

They were definitely trying to create an opportunity for her and Kevin to spend quality time together.

Only the maids were left in the house but even they excused themselves not long after Kevin and

Hayden came home.

Plenty of Hayden's favorite dishes were served on the table.

Kevin smiled. “Let’s eat and watch a movie after dinner, Hay.”

“I haven’t watched one in a long time. I don’t have the time.”

“Let’s watch one tonight and have a nice date.”

Kevin was about to hold Hayden’s hand again. He knew that Hayden had opened up her heart to him

when she willingly wore a dress for him in her private office lounge.

Although she still looked cold and serious, her soft spot for him was gradually growing.

Hayden was a person who was ruthless when no emotions were involved but was soft when she had

feelings for someone.

She did not push his hand away this time and allowed him to lead her to the dining table.

“Since the weather is hot, let’s go swimming.”

“Are you sure?”

Kevin tried to persuade her to go swimming the last time, but she refused to enter the pool.

Hayden smiled. “No.”

“I’ll decide for you. Let’s swim, watch a movie, then go for supper.”

After a moment of silence, Hayden said, “You can make the arrangements. I’ve never been on a date.”

Kevin was grinning from ear to ear upon hearing that.

She would not utter words of love but she was willing to go on a date with him. This was her way of

expressing her feelings.
