Chapter 2307

Hearing Hayden’s words, Kevin felt sorry that she had to work overtime. He was worried she would tirenovelbin

herself out. He said, “Forget it. You can attend the wedding on the day itself. I initially wanted to bring

you around Wiltspoon for some fun if you could stay for a few days.

“I’ll be wherever you are. I can be with you in Jensburg too. We don’t have to be in Wiltspoon.”

Hayden’s expression darkened. She scolded, “Don’t you have anything to do? To think your brother

handed over the management of York Corporation’s F&B businesses to you. If those stores go out of

business, it’ll be on you. You haven’t been doing anything for many days.”

If Kevin were as tenacious in running his businesses as pestering Hayden, he could definitely be a

business tycoon.

Well, as if he was not already one.

“The industries York Corporation is involved in are stable. Besides, I’m not being completely idle. I

handle urgent matters of the hotel too.”

Kevin was always smiling, making Hayden want to pinch his face or bite him to see if he could keep

smiling like that.

“To me, pursuing you is my utmost priority now. If I can’t win your heart, I won’t be able to return to

Wildridge Manor. Nana will chase me out.

“Hay, you have to take me in if Nana kicks me out. I’ll live and eat at your place.”

Kevin suddenly thought it was a good idea.

Judging from Hayden’s reaction, it seemed unlikely he could get her to marry him before the new year,

and even getting engaged might be challenging. If Grandma May were to kick him out and forbade him

from entering the manor, he would move to Hayden’s place.

Donnie and Sophia would be more than happy if he stayed over at their home.

Hayden was speechless.

She immediately got into the elevator once the doors opened. When Kevin was about to enter, she

suddenly pushed him. Kevin staggered backward and fell on his behind.

Hayden quickly closed the doors. She was finally having some quiet to herself.

“Hay, Hay.”

Kevin got up and flung himself toward the elevator doors, but it was too late.

“That came without warning.”

Although he was pushed down, he was not angry.

He rushed to the stairs and made it two floors down before getting onto another elevator.

There was only one elevator that could reach the top floor of Queen Enterprise. Those who wished to

reach the top would have to take the stairs if using other elevators.

Hayden knew she could not escape Kevin with that push. Besides, she already told him she was going

home for dinner with her parents.

Kevin could just make his way to her home.

Nevertheless, she could savor a short moment of peace and quiet.

He was too talkative. He would make her laugh sometimes, but other times she would be exasperated.

Despite this, being with him felt relaxing. Maybe because he knew she was a woman. She did not have

to be cautious around him or worried about being discovered.

When Kevin caught up to Hayden, her car had just left the company’s compound escorted by her

bodyguards.

Kevin did not panic as he knew Hayden was heading to Queen Manor. He could just drive over.

Before making his way there, he bought many things. He would always bring along plenty of stuff

whenever he visited the Queens.

Hayden met Caroline on the way back.

Caroline’s car had broken down. Even after inspecting the car, she could not find out the cause of it.
