Chapter 2273

“Mr. Bucham, see you later.”

Julian smiled. “Okay, Ms. Crawford. That reminds me. Do you and the kids need a ride back to the

hotel? I can pick you up.”

“Thank you for the offer, Mr. Bucham, but our transport is sorted. We chartered a bus, so we’ll take the

bus back to the hotel after the competition.”

“Alright then. You don’t have to hire a bus next time. Just give me a call, and I’ll plan the logistics.”

Quinn grinned. “Alright. We’ll be in your care if we come over for another competition.”

There would always be competitions, but rarely were they held in Wiltspoon.novelbin

Quinn did not say no when Julian offered since the likelihood of her returning to Wiltspoon was slim to

none. At least she would not be troubling Julian.

After the phone call, Julian was not going to sit and wait in the car until the afternoon.

The car was not the most comfortable place to wait, even if the air conditioner was blasting. It was

sweltering outside.

He got out of the vehicle and entered the hotel. Julian picked a spot in the lobby lounge area and

watched the hotel guests heading in and out.

Wiltspoon Hotel was a profitable business. The place was a hive of activity, with comings and goings

every day for meals, business meetings, and stays.

The person running the hotel operations was Kevin York, but Kevin was not in Wiltspoon at the

moment.

Julian knew Kevin was in Jensburg, wooing his future wife.

The Yorks owned a few hotels in Jensburg, so Kevin could manage the hotels there while putting effort

into the romance. He did not seem to have a problem balancing work and courtship.

Julian was aware that Grandma May had selected potential wives for her grandsons. However, he was

not in the loop about who these ladies were.

He was not interested in the relationships of others anyway.

Ring, ring, ring…

Julian pulled out his phone for a look and saw the call coming from an unrecognized number. He

answered anyway because only those known to him could have his personal number.

“It’s me, Mr. Bucham. I’m Elisa.”

So it was Elisa Stone.

Julian may have pursued her for a while, but he did not have her number saved. The pursuit only came

about because he lost a bet to Andrew and as a penalty, he had to woo Elisa to keep Andrew off

Audrey's radar.

Hence, he did not pay much attention to Elisa.

“Can I help you, Ms. Stone?”

Holding back the fury, Elisa uttered, “Your parents visited my parents with gifts to discuss our

marriage.”

“Huh?” yelped Julian, causing heads to turn.

The ever-stoic Julian's face drained of color. He jolted up and took large strides out.
