Chapter 2213

“We can’t anymore. The psychic said that it was the end of the road for us and Grandma May, so there

won’t be future meetings. The psychic told us not to look for him, and even if we did track him down, he

wouldn’t meet us. These clairvoyants play by the book, and it’s all about timing.”

Stacy sighed. “I guess it’s a waiting game now.”

She wondered and pined for the day she would meet her future daughter-in-law.

“The brat could at least start the search or something, but he doesn’t seem to be around. God knows

what he’s occupied with. Either way, whatever will be, will be. He’ll get married when it’s time without us

pushing him to it.”

Stacy added, “It’s not as if we can push him into marriage anyway.”

It was out of their hands that their son ended up with such an illness.

Julian, still in the study, took a picture of the girl on the keychain. He told his men to track her down.

Since he found the keychain at the airport, the girl must be either arriving or departing Wiltspoon. He

should first cover his base in Wiltspoon.

He could expand the search outside Wiltspoon if she could not be found locally.

With a photograph of her in hand, Julian would have an easy time tracing her.

At least, he would not be a headless chicken like his father, checking out every girl under the sun.

Back in Jensburg, Hayden walked out of the office building after work, only to be showered with anovelbin

bouquet of flowers. While many took it as a romantic and ecstatic gesture, Hayden found it a nuisance.

The sight of Kevin’s shameless face, though handsome, was the source of her headache.

It appeared Queen Enterprise had become a place where Kevin could come and go as he pleased.

No one had the guts to stop him because of her father!

Donald respected Kevin’s position. He was afraid that his daughter would not let Kevin into the office

building, so he brought Kevin in early one morning and gave him a tour of the premises. Donald also

told everybody that Kevin should be given VIP treatment whenever he visited.

He would not be kind to anyone who kept Kevin from entering the place.

Someone asked Donald, “What if it’s a direct order from Mr. Hayden?”

Donald had his future son-in-law’s back through and through as he domineeringly answered, “My order

supersedes hers.”

Everybody was lost for words.

It explained Kevin’s dauntlessness; Donald was sticking up for him.

Still, Hayden was a man.

Why would Donald offer support to Kevin?

Someone daringly asked Donald the question that had been on everybody’s mind, to which Donald

gleefully replied, “I admire Kevin, and he’s like a son-in-law to me.”

Silence hit the floor.

Only God knew what spell Kevin got Donald and Sophia under. They were not mad about Kevin’s

pursuit of Hayden, suggesting that they accepted Kevin’s sexuality because he was one fine man.

Donald treated Kevin as his son-in-law, so was Hayden a woman to him?

That would make Hayden the bottom should Hayden open his heart to Kevin.

It was hard for everybody to imagine Kevin cheekily toppling over the haughty and aloof Hayden.

All of Hayden’s suitors combined were no match for Kevin.

Sigh.

The employees would snap an angry look at Kevin every time they saw him, but Kevin was thick-

skinned enough to pay no heed.
