Chapter 2209

However, Jasmine did not expect Theresa to have so many thoughts about her.

Fortunately, Theresa was just Josh’s cousin. Although she was the Bucham family’s nutritionist, she did

not usually stay in the Bucham residence. She only came often after Jasmine got pregnant. Even if she

had a problem with Jasmine, it would not affect Jasmine.

Rebecca also mentioned Serenity, thinking that the York family would also hire a nutritionist to make a

menu for her daily meals.

Maybe they would, but the York family would not control Serenity.

A few minutes after Rebecca and Theresa stopped talking, Jasmine finally came out of the washroom.

“Jasmine, did you have a stomachache?” Rebecca asked with concern.

“No.”

Jasmine said with embarrassment, “I always bring my phone when I go to the washroom.”

She did not continue, but everyone understood what she meant.

People nowadays liked to take their phones when they went to do their business.

“Jasmine, you should spend less time on your phone. There’s radiation,” Theresa spoke instinctively.

Jasmine smiled and said, “I don’t play with my phone often either. When I’m in the shop, I usually read

books and don’t play on my phone.”

Then, she asked her mother-in-law, “Is everything ready? I’ll send them over to Seren first. She’s back

from her checkup at the hospital.”novelbin

“They’re ready.”

Rebecca smiled and called the servants to load the gifts she prepared into Jasmine’s car.

Soon, Jasmine left the house under the gaze of her mother-in-law and Theresa.

On the other side, Julian was lying in his study. He sat in his chair and held the bunch of keys that he

found, repeatedly looking at the photo in the small photo frame.

As he looked, a smile formed on his lips.

His slender fingers gently stroked the girl in the photo. If people close to him were to see that gentle

action, they would be frightened to the point of dropping their glasses.

“Her smile is bright and sweet. It makes me feel comfortable and can’t help but smile as well,” Julian

muttered to himself while touching the photo.

He felt that the lady in the photo was like a fairy.

That sweet and bright smile was like sunshine, hitting his heart directly and making it race involuntarily.

This had never happened before.

This girl must be his predestined partner.

Speaking of which, that psychic trusted by Old Mrs. York really was quite amazing.

He said that Julian would meet his predestined partner so that his father would not have to worry that

he would die alone.

He also said that Julian’s predestined partner was a girl in her early twenties. There was an age gap.

That was fine. He did not dislike her young age. In any case, she was already an adult since she was in

her early twenties. She was at a marriageable age. It would be fine as long as she did not dislike the

fact that he was older.

Duncan and he were somewhat similar.

Duncan was basically an uncle.

However, he did not set his eyes on a young lady but Liberty, who was in her early thirties. She was

divorced and had a child, so even if Duncan was several years older than her, his qualities were more

than enough for her.

“You don’t have a boyfriend, do you?” Julian muttered to himself.

“If you have a boyfriend... then I’d be the third party who gets involved in your relationship.

“I hope you don’t have a boyfriend. I’m not afraid of your suitors. If I throw my hat in the ring, who will

compete with me? Who will be able to win against me?”

Julian was very confident.
