Chapter 2178

Just as Zachary entered the kitchen, someone knocked on the door.

Grandma May said, “Carry on with your work. I’ll open the door.”

She rose to her feet and opened the door, only to see Liberty standing there.

Liberty was holding a few bags filled with groceries. One could tell that she had just bought them from

the market.

“Grandma May, when did you come over?” Liberty asked with a grin. She was delighted to see the old

lady here.

“I just got here. As soon as I heard Seren got pregnant, I hurried over as I was worried that Zachary

didn’t know how to look after Seren. I can’t stop worrying unless I look after her personally.”

Grandma May smiled cheerfully. She moved aside to let Liberty in. After checking out Liberty from head

to toe, she praised with a smile, “Liberty, you’re looking prettier, and every movement of yours carries

confidence.”

“Thank you for the compliment, Grandma May. I was born with good looks.”

Grandma May burst into laughter. “You’re right. Serenity and you are both naturally good-looking.”

“Where’s Seren?”

Liberty entered the house and asked for Serenity’s whereabouts since Serenity was nowhere in sight.

She said, “Yesterday, Zachary told me on the phone that Seren is pregnant. He also shared the news

with Aunt Audrey. Aunt Audrey and I were so pleased that we wanted to come and visit her right away.

“I remember Serenity and Zachary had gone to FC Manor in Annenburg. I thought that the couple was

still there. Just now, I saw Seren’s Facebook story and found out that she’s in Brynfield, Wiltspoon.novelbin

Knowing that the couple had returned, I hurried over.

“Since it’s early, I supposed they haven’t had breakfast, so I bought something to make breakfast for

them. Grandma May, I think you haven’t eaten, have you? Let me prepare more food.”

While speaking, Liberty was about to walk to the kitchen.

Zachary came out of the kitchen in an apron.

“Liberty.”

“Zachary, you got up so early, huh?”

Liberty was surprised to find Zachary in the kitchen. Soon, she grinned and said, “Did you wake up

early to make breakfast because Seren is hungry? Both of you didn’t let me know that you’re back.

Aunt Audrey and I thought that you were still in Annenburg.”

A burst of silly laughter came from Zachary as he answered, “I was overjoyed yesterday, and that’s why

I neglected that and forgot many things.

“Seren is still sleeping. Lately, she’s been feeling extremely sleepy. It’s all my fault. I was ignorant. I

didn’t know that excessive sleepiness is a symptom of pregnancy.”

At this point, Zachary figured out the reason behind his wife’s excessive sleepiness. It turned out that

she was pregnant.

Fortunately, Serenity had always been in robust health even during her pregnancy. She was still fine

after going everywhere with Zachary.

Liberty said smilingly, “I didn’t expect so either considering I’m a mother myself. Sonny told me that

Seren has been feeling extremely sleepy lately. I thought it was because Seren was exhausted and

hardly rested.”

Grandma May chipped in, “Look, you didn’t know that Seren got pregnant when I wasn’t around. So I

rushed over once I learned the news. I won’t travel to any faraway places before Seren gives birth to

the baby.”

Anyway, she had already identified Dylan’s and Peter’s potential partners.

She would hand the photos of the partners to Dylan and Peter and have them decide.

She would let Austin and other younger grandsons of hers continue to have a few years of freedom.

She was not worried about them this year. Once her great-grandson was born, she would choose

potential partners for her other grandsons.

She even planned to choose a potential partner for Rowan in advance. When Rowan became an adult

and was competent, she would get him to meet the potential partner.

Grandma May was thinking about choosing a potential partner for Rowan since she was getting old.

Even though she believed she could live for another ten to twenty years, nobody knew when accidents

would happen. She felt the need to choose potential partners for her grandsons first, so if she were to

leave the world one day, then she would be at ease.
