When Serenity woke up, it was already early morning the next day.
She opened her eyes and saw herself lying in bed, feeling a bit confused. Was she not in the car?

“I’m not awake, I’m still dreaming. I dreamt that my wife wanted to kiss me, so I’ll wait for her to finish
kissing, and then I’ll wake up.”
Serenity burst into laughter.
“You’re talking now yet you say you’re not awake.”
“I was sleep-talking.”
As an old married couple, kissing was their favorite daily activity.
Serenity was not shy either. She rolled over and pressed herself on top of him, leaning down to kiss his

“You can wake up now.”

“If I knew you were going to kiss me, I would have slept a little longer, so when you took off my clothes,
I would wake up.”
Serenity rolled off him and lightly pinched his face. “You were asleep. I wouldn’t take off your clothes.

Zachary pulled her into his arms and chuckled softly, “It’s just an occasional thing for me.”
“What time is it now? How long have I been asleep?”
Zachary picked up his phone, checked the time, and said, “It’s still early, not even seven o’clock.”
“It’s already bright outside.”
“At this time of the month, it’s normal for it to be bright around six in the morning. In another month or
two, the days will be shorter and the nights longer.”
“You should take some time off and stop running around so much. Even Sonny said that you look
drowsy these days. It’s because you haven’t been getting enough rest and sleep these few days. Last
night when we were heading home, you fell asleep in the car after only a few words with me.
“When we arrived and I carried you into the house, you were still sleeping like a log. Usually, you would

Serenity playfully stuck out her tongue. “I don’t know, I wanted to close my eyes for a moment as my
eyelids felt heavy. The next second, I was already fast asleep. I guess it’s true that I've been too busy
recently, and I haven’t gotten enough time to rest. Look, I have dark circles under my eyes now.”
“Exactly, right? I feel so sorry for you when I see you like this. Seren, you’ve achieved a lot. The
company you founded is going in the right direction. The number of workers and delivery trucks has
also been increasing steadily.
“You don’t have to worry about market demands anymore. You have even secured a good number of
orders from neighboring cities. About the small family business we own, my mother is still running it.
Don’t take the business over from my mother yet, as that would leave her bored at home all time.
