Chapter 2110

“Okay.”

Corey personally sent Lily out of the house.

She stood at the door and watched Lily leave. Lily was such a great girl, but she was not meant to be

with Duncan.

The fate between people was really strange.

Liberty was definitely not as good as Lily, but Duncan did not like Lily. He only liked Liberty.

A few moments later, Corey went back into the house.

She saw her son slowly stand up and move a step to sit on the sofa without the bodyguard holding him.

Corey was very excited. Her son was able to stand by himself and take a step forward!

The bodyguard pushed the wheelchair away and parked it to the side, then silently went out.

“Duncan.”

Corey walked over quickly and sat next to her son. Her concerned faze fell on his legs. When she saw

his legs shaking, her heart broke again, and she reached out to gently touch his calf.

“Does it still hurt a lot?”

Duncan hummed. “It’s not as painful as the first time I stood up on my own. Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll get

better slowly.”

“Yes, you’ll get better. Don’t push yourself either. Take it slow.”

Duncan nodded.

“Is Liberty busy this Saturday too? Why don’t you ask her to come over and hang out? I miss Sonny

too.”

“Liberty took Sonny back to the manor for a break. Josh and his wife also went, and the York family

elders urged Liberty to go over with Sonny. They’ll probably return to the city with Zachary and thenovelbin

others on Sunday night.”

Duncan touched his legs. “I haven’t been to Wildridge Manor for a long time and want to go too, but I’m

afraid it’ll affect their mood if I go. They won’t be able to have fun or dare to show their happiness for

fear that I’d be upset.

“They’d also be distracted trying to take care of me, so they won’t be able to let loose. It’s better if I

don’t go.”

Duncan did not go, but he yearned for the old days.

Zachary, Josh, and he were a famous trio in Wiltspoon.

If someone saw him in the past, they would see Zachary and Josh as well, and vice versa.

Now, the three of them rarely got together.

“Duncan.”

Corey said with heartache, “If you want to go, then go. Bring more people with you so they can take

good care of you. Zachary and Josh are considerate people. They won’t mind.”

“I know they won’t mind, but I still don’t want to go there and bother them. Let’s wait until I’m better. The

future is long. We’re all friends for life.”

Corey could only hum.

“How is Sonny’s father?”

She changed the topic so her son would not feel bad inside.

“He’s recovering. He’s extremely lucky.” Duncan sighed. Many people could not recover after entering

the ICU but Hank pulled through despite being severely injured and falling into a coma for many days.
