Chapter 2062

Of course, Tania firmly denied that her son had issues. How could there be any problems with her

strong and sturdy son?

Liam took the prescription from his wife’s hand and looked at it. He did not know a thing about medicine

and did not know the functions of it.

He said, “It’s a prescription that a doctor hasn’t checked. How do we know if it’s suitable? Everyone’s

condition is different.

“Besides, we agreed not to urge them to have a child. If you pass this prescription to Serenity, she’ll

think we’re urging her to get pregnant and feel pressured. She’s already stressed enough.

“If you give the prescription to our son, he’ll definitely tear it in front of us.

“Didn’t the psychic Mom hired say Zack and Serenity will have good news in the autumn? Just wait and

see. I think they have no issues at all.”

Liam said, “It might’ve been because of stress as they’re both busy with work. Don’t be hasty. We can’t

seal the outsiders’ mouths no matter what they say, but we must stand behind Serenity as her family.

“We should be concerned about her and not stress her out. Let’s not even mention children in front of

her.”

Tania sighed. She said, “There’s a saying that psychics are accurate in looking into the past but not

predicting the future. It’s already September. Other cities are already entering the autumn season. Only

our place feels as hot as if it’s summer despite already being autumn.

“I don’t want to urge or pressure them to have children. However, my friends always ask me about itnovelbin

during social events. The more questions I get about it, the more embarrassed I feel about attending

their gatherings out of fear of being questioned again.

“Moreover, my siblings and their partners would also ask whenever I returned to my family. Even my

mom keeps thinking about this. She said she won’t be able to die in peace if she doesn’t see Serenity

giving birth.”

Everyone was worried about Serenity and Zachary being unable to get pregnant after so long. The

main problem was Zachary’s personality.

His feelings for Serenity were too deep.

Even if Serenity were the cause that the husband and wife could not have a child, Zachary would not

divorce her.

He would rather have no kids than get a divorce.

However, from the older generation’s traditional perspective, not having children was to be utterly

unfilial.

How could the elders be at ease if Zachary did not have a child?

Tania said, “My mom said having a daughter was better than not having any children.”

Mrs. Reading only said that because outsiders believed having a son was much better.

On the other hand, people who had difficulty getting pregnant would be fine with either a son or a

daughter as long as they could give birth to a child.

Liam smiled and said, “If Serenity gives birth to a daughter, she’ll be the York family’s greatest

benefactor. I want a granddaughter so much that I even dream about it.”

Tania laughed. “You’re right.”

“Tell your mom that there’s no need to worry. What’s meant to be will surely happen. She’s still healthy.

She must be wishing to hear the child call her great-grandmother aside from witnessing Serenity giving

birth.”

“How could an elderly not keep nagging about it? Look at Zack. He hasn’t brought Serenity back to visit

his grandma for a long time, and now he’s scared of being lectured.

“Why don’t we mention this to Serenity in a roundabout manner? She can get the medicine according

to the prescription if she's not opposed to it. If she doesn’t want to, we’ll just forget about it.”

Liam said, “Didn’t I say that not everybody can use the same medicine? We’ll only know whether it’s

suitable after consulting a doctor. Every medicine has its side effects. Do you think it’s candy? We can’t

just eat any medicine we wish.”

“Zack will definitely find out if I hire a family doctor to conduct a checkup on Serenity. Not even I can

handle Zack when he makes a fuss. He won’t let me off easily just because I’m his mother.”

Tania could not do anything about her eldest son.

“Mom isn’t around either. Ah, it’s so frustrating.”

If Grandma May were in the house, Tania would have passed the prescription to her and gotten her

hands off it.
