Chapter 1916

Hayden was speechless.

If she knew Kevin was so difficult to deal with and would create such a mess, she would have accepted

his bouquet and thrown it away after he left.

Such a mess may not have occurred.

“Are you done with work?”

Kevin raised his head to look at the sun in the sky. He could not open his eyes because of the sunlight,

so he quickly lowered his head. He asked Hayden, “Will you let me treat you to a meal, Mr. Queen?”

“I’m sorry. I have a lunch appointment in the afternoon. I’m not free.”

Hayden rejected him right away.

Kevin said, “It’s okay. You may not be free today, but you’ll have time in the future. I’ll come to invite

you for a meal and arrange flowers at your company’s entrance every day until you agree to have a

meal with me.”novelbin

Hayden was exasperated.

She did not hit Kevin only because she was well-mannered.

She could not be bothered to continue talking to him too. He had already decided to use her.

Hayden waved her hand and said to company security guards, “Throw all these flowers into the trash

can.”

Then, she turned to tell her secretary, “Contact all the florists in Jensburg. No one is allowed to sell

flowers to Kevin York in the future. If anyone does, they’ll be going against me.”

Kevin said, “You’re too bossy, Mr. Queen. The florists don’t even earn much in a year. It’s rare that

they’re able to meet a big client like me and earn some money, yet you’re stopping them from selling

flowers to me. You’re taking away their business.

“The act of cutting off one’s source of income is equivalent to murdering one’s parents. You should be

careful of them cursing you behind their backs. They might curse you so that you won’t be able to

marry a wife for the rest of your life.”

Hayden indeed could not marry a wife; she was a woman herself.

She would not marry a wife. She could only get married to a man or get a man to marry into her family.

Hayden said coldly, “I don’t need you minding my business.”

She would compensate the florists with a sum of money in private.

Anyway, she could not allow Kevin to display a bed of flowers at the company’s entrance every day.

Kevin pouted. “Okay. I won’t meddle in your business. It’s fine as long as you’re happy.”

He had accomplished his goal anyway.

He had arranged those flowers to declare a challenge, no, to tell Hayden that he was really going to

start pursuing.

It would definitely be a trending topic in Jensburg.

Kevin gestured to his people not to stop Hayden’s guards from clearing the flowers.

After seeing the flowers being cleared, Hayden turned to walk back.

“Bro.”

Hugh followed her.

Hayden ignored him.

Did he think she did not see anything? She saw her brother and Kevin talking with smiles when she

came out.

She almost died of anger because of Kevin.

However, her brother was still talking amicably with the culprit.

Did they treat her as a joke?

“Bro, Kevin admitted that he wanted to create a topic to escape from his parents nagging him to get

married,” Hugh explained as he walked.
