Chapter 1909

As Hayden suppressed her anger, she said coldly, “Thank you for your kindness, Mr. York. I don’t really

have a favorite but if I do, I can buy it myself. I don’t need you to buy it for me.”

“What you buy is yours, what I give is my feelings. Mr. Hayden, please take the flowers I got you. Don’t

let my feelings go to waste. This is my first time giving flowers to someone.”

Hayden’s expression turned grim. “Mr. York, this is also the first time I received flowers from a man.”

“Why can’t a man give another man flowers? Men are humans as well, some men like flowers.”

Hayden could not win against Kevin in the argument.

Kevin was extremely shameless.

“Mr. York, I have things to do. Please leave,” Hayden requested with a frosty tone.

“I won't affect your work. I’ll be quiet. When you are done with work, let’s go for dinner.”

Hayden was speechless. “Mr. York, if you insist on staying, I will have to call security.”novelbin

Kevin looked at her with a grin. He did not take her words seriously.

Hayden was annoyed and upset by Kevin’s shamelessness.

She even had a good impression of him before this because as someone from the Yorks, Kevin was

great in almost everything, except for being shameless.

Hayden kept her words. She called security and asked them to “invite” Kevin out of her office.

“It’s fine, Mr. Hayden. I can walk on my own. I’ll wait for you outside. When you are done with work,

let’s go to Fortress Hotel to have dinner. I’ll make sure you will be satisfied.”

Kevin then headed to the door. He really did not want to be escorted out by the security guards

because it would be embarrassing.

He might not be a local but he ran multiple hotels in Jensburg. He was in charge of the F&B

department and because of that, he had to travel to Jensburg a lot. Many influential figures of Jensburg

knew him.

If he was escorted out of the office by Hayden’s security, it would be embarrassing.

“Kevin York!” Hayden called him all of a sudden.

Kevin stopped and turned around to her with a smile. “What is it, Mr. Hayden?”

Hayden went over to him with the flowers and shoved them into his arms. “Please take your flowers

away.”

Kevin held the flowers in his hands but he smiled at her. “I really think the roses suit you, Mr. Hayden.

You are so beautiful that only roses can match your aura. I think you are even more beautiful than the

flowers!”

“Kevin York!” Hayden shouted. “I am a man, don’t use beautiful to describe me!”

More beautiful than a flower? It was a sentence to praise a woman, not a man.

She was a man now!

Yet Kevin teased her openly.

“Oh, pardon me. My bad. I am barely literate, I don’t know how to use the words properly. Please

forgive my stupidity. I really think you are more beautiful than a woman.”

Hayden was speechless.

Barely literate?

Kevin said it on purpose.

“Secretary!” Hayden called her secretary in.

She ordered, “Send Mr. York out and make sure you escort him out of the company.”
