Chapter 1869

Alvin’s gaze darkened. After some thought, he whispered, “Find someone who looks similar to Zachary

in the country. If you find him, give him some training and arrange for him to meet Jenna. Jenna’s

clever, so she’ll know what to do.

“If you can’t find someone with similar looks, get someone with a similar build. That’s useful too.”novelbin

Since Zachary was impenetrable, they would have to start with Serenity.

Based on Serenity’s personality, if she were to misunderstand Zachary and thought he cheated on her

with a mistress, she would definitely suggest a divorce.

Zachary loved his wife as if she was his life. He would refuse to get a divorce.

He would not be wronged and investigate the matter thoroughly. By that time, Jenna would get into

trouble.

If Jenna were unlucky, Uncle Edwin would probably be so angry that he would chase her out of Daniels

Group. If so, Daniels Group would belong to him, Alvin.

“Okay.”

“Do it now. However, you must be cautious and remember not to leave traces. Don’t let anybody know

that I’m involved in this. The Yorks are on good terms with the Buchams, and they’re not to be

offended.”

Alvin ordered his subordinate.

His subordinate nodded cautiously.

Alvin waved his hand, and the subordinate left in silence.

“Jenna, I finally have something on you.” Wickedness filled Alvin’s eyes. “If I can’t chase you out of

Daniels Group this time, my name won’t be Alvin.”

He did not only want to chase Jenna out of Daniels Group but also make his uncle utterly disappointed

in her. That way, his uncle would marry her off to a secluded place, and he would not have to stand her

anymore.

People who offended Zachary never ended up well.

Achoo. Achoo.

Zachary, who was far away in Wiltspoon, kept sneezing.

Duncan and Liberty looked toward him.

Liberty asked out of concern, “Did you catch a cold, Zachary?”

Duncan took a packet of fragranced tissue from his pocket and passed it to his friend.

Ever since he became disabled, he developed the habit of bringing tissue with him. It was so that he

could wipe himself if he were to fall.

“Serenity must be missing me. She’s been out for such a long period. It’ll be weird if she doesn’t miss

me.”

Zachary assumed he was strong and would not catch a cold easily. It must have been his wife missing

him.

A cold?

If he really caught a cold, Serenity would probably return immediately. She knew he disliked taking

medicine because it was bitter. He would always throw the medicine into the trash can if she were not

by his side and keeping an eye on him. Since he did not consume any medicine, his sickness would

not go away. He would simply let the cold run its course.

Zachary thought about making himself look pitiful. He could let himself catch a cold to tempt his wife

back. He reached out to accept the tissue his friend offered. As he took a piece, he said in disgust,

“Duncan, your tissue’s fragrance is so strong. I don’t really like it.”

Liberty smelled the fragrance. She said, “I think it smells pretty good. Sonny likes these fragranced

tissues. Whenever he follows Seren to eat out, he would tell me that the hotel’s tissue smelled nice.”

Zachary was speechless.

He should not have said anything.

Duncan never brought tissues around with him in the past. Without a doubt, he must only have started

bringing tissues, specifically fragranced ones, to please Sonny.

It was also because Liberty liked the smell.

After Zachary wiped his nose, he asked Liberty, “Liberty, do you have time later?”

“What’s wrong?”

“I suddenly remembered that I have some matters to attend to, so I can’t send Duncan back home. I

was thinking if you could give him a ride in my stead if you were free.”
