Chapter 1853

Camryn withdrew the hand that she used to cover Callum’s mouth and she casually rose to her feet.

Before she walked around the counter, the shop assistant came in.

With a sulky expression, Callum walked away and continued to water the flowers.

The shop assistant handed the money to Camryn and turned around to glance at Callum who just

walked past her. After Callum walked out of the shop to water the plants outside, she asked in a softnovelbin

voice, “Boss, did I do something wrong?”

Camryn took the money and counted the notes to confirm that the amount was right. Upon hearing the

shop assistant’s question, Camryn answered, “No. You’re fine. You didn’t do anything wrong.”

“Good to hear that. I thought I made a mistake. When Mr. Callum walked past me just now, he glared at

me.”

After ascertaining that she did not make any mistakes, she heaved a sigh of relief.

Deep down, Camryn roasted her fiancé but on the outside, she said with a gentle smile, “Your eyes

could be deceiving you. Why would Callum glare at you? Having said that, he looks serious when he

doesn’t smile, which is why you thought he glared at you.”

Callum acted like an elegant gentleman when he was with Camryn. Nevertheless, he showed the other

side of himself in front of other people.

Camryn had never seen it. She did not even have any idea what he looked like.

“I guess my eyes were deceiving me. Boss, you’re right. Mr. Callum is gentle toward you, but he looks

extremely serious and cold with other people. He seems unapproachable.”

The shop assistant was whispering to Camryn, worried that Callum would hear it if she was too loud.

Callum had good hearing. In fact, he heard everything, but he ignored it and left the shop assistant to

perceive him that way. This showed that Camryn received special treatment from him.

He was easygoing when he was with people he was close to.

Camryn laughed. “When he’s with me, he’s actually not gentle. He’s more of a… rogue.”

Callum was at a loss for words.

If he had not acted like a rogue toward Camryn, would the two of them have gotten engaged?

Nobody could tell for how long she would be shunning him.

As Grandma May said, Callum was not bothered about his dignity when he went after Camryn. Now

that he had bagged her, he remained shameless in front of her.

His arrogant elder brother had lost his dignity many times for the sake of Serenity.

“There are no orders as of now. Please watch the shop. I’m going out to deal with some matter,”

Camryn said to the shop assistant.

“Go ahead, I’ll watch the shop. Leah should be back soon.”

Leah was another shop assistant.

Camryn was unworried.

She walked out and said to the man who was watering the flowers right in front of the shop, “Callum, go

to Wiltspoon Hotel with me. I’d like to have a talk with Trenton.”

Trenton was going to leave Wiltspoon for college in another city. He would not come back as often as

he did in high school. Camryn hoped she could have a better understanding of her brother before he

continued his studies.

“Alright.”

Callum instantly placed the watering can back where it came from. Then, he entered the shop to get

Camryn’s white cane and brought her into the luxury car that was parked at the shop entrance. Before

he got into the car, he fastened the seat belt for her thoughtfully.

Soon, Callum’s luxury car left Spring Blossoms.

After Callum and Camryn left, they had no clue that two people were watching Spring Blossoms with

binoculars on the top floor of the opposite building. When Callum and Camryn were leaving, their eyes

followed Callum’s car.
