Chapter 1851

Callum casually asked, “Where’s Serenity?”

Camryn answered, “She’s probably away on a business trip. Serenity said she had to go on a business

trip these two days.”

If it were not for her eyes, Camryn would often have to go on business trips too. Since Dalton would

always come over now, she did not have to travel.

Camryn wanted to go to the office very badly. Considering that she was blind, it would be troublesome

for her to travel to a faraway place, unless she took a private jet. Neither did she have one nor would

she want to use her future in-laws’ private jet.

Zachary did not give an explanation.

He let Camryn assume that his wife was on a business trip.

When his wife was not at home, he felt miserable as time seemed to creep by. Even after a long time,

the sky had not turned dark and the sun was still high in the sky. The sun was not even at its highest

point.

They say “absence makes the heart grow fonder”.

This saying is absolutely true.

Zachary was experiencing it.

When he learned that Serenity had gone to Jensburg, he had the urge to get there immediately. Little

did he expect that Grandma May would fly off with Serenity again.

“Duncan, do you want to get out of the car here?” Zachary asked.

After some thought, Duncan replied, “I need Callum and you to hold me.”

Zachary took the wheelchair from the car. Then, together with Callum, he helped Duncan out of the car

before placing Duncan in the wheelchair.

“Mr. Lewis.”

Upon hearing Duncan’s voice, Camryn faced him and greeted him politely.

“Ms. Newman, I’d like a bouquet of roses.”

“Alright. I’ll wrap it for you.”

Camryn replied with a smile before she turned around and walked inside her shop. She skilfully

wrapped a bouquet for Duncan.

Callum did not assist her.

She did not need his assistance anyway.

In a familiar place, she could live like an ordinary person. Aware of this point, Callum specifically

wanted her to send him the flowers so that she could familiarize herself with the route from her flower

shop to York Corporation.

Now, Callum would take her to his house so she could grope around and familiarize herself with the

surroundings.

Although Dr. Carden promised to treat Camryn’s eyes after her child was one month old, Callum had

prepared for the worst.

After a while, Camryn walked over with a flower bouquet in her arms. Using her other senses, she

handed the bouquet to Duncan and said with a smile, “Mr. Lewis, I’ve wrapped the flower bouquet for

you.”

Duncan took the bouquet and praised her, “Ms. Newman, you’re awesome.”

Despite being blind, she could wrap the bouquet of flowers quite swiftly.novelbin

“Practice makes perfect. When I started doing it, I would always take the wrong flowers or get pricked

by rose thorns. When I wrapped the flowers, I would hurt my hands with the scissors. With my

persistence in exploring around, I managed to do this well over time even though I’m blind.”

Duncan was lost in thought.

A blind could set up a flower shop and support herself with her own hard work.

If Duncan persevered, the heavens would be touched by his behavior and enable him to stand up.

After seeing Zachary and Duncan off, Callum held his fiancée’s hand and brought her to the counter to

sit. He said, “Duncan’s mood has improved a lot. Things happen, but he has come to accept reality.”
