Chapter 1787

Chapter 1787

“Twas thinking that you’d be home since Mr. Lewis is out of the hospital.

I could have dinner with you instead of eating on my own at home.” Serenity carried Sonny to the

dinner table and grabbed a plate to fill with appetizers.

Wiltspoonians enjoyed their appetizers.

It was hard to start a meal without an appetizer.

Liberty made family favorites.

She cooked extra since she had an inkling that Serenity would join her for dinner.

“Here’s your appetizer, Sonny.

Enjoy.” Serenity then filled a plate for Liberty before getting one for herself.

After taking a bite, Serenity sighed with contentment.

“Your food is different.

The chef at home is good at cooking, but nothing beats my sister’s food.” Liberty responded with a

smile, “You can always come over if you like my food.” Serenity craved comfort food after having too

much fancy food.

“Now that Mr. Lewis is discharged, are you going to carry on caring for him, Liberty?” Serenity asked

with concern.

“]T don’t think so.

He has a lot of people at home who can offer him the best care.

I need to sort out my business, but I’ll take a break tomorrow.

I intend to take Sonny to the park.

He’s starting kindergarten soon.” “Good timing.

I want to rest tomorrow.

Why don’t we skip the park and go to Wilridge Manor? The manor is a lot more fun than the park.”

Liberty had no issues with the suggestion.

Wildridge Manor was more beautiful than the park.

Plus, there was a playground in the manor.novelbin

Sonny always had so much fun there that he did not want to go home at the end of the day.

“We can go shopping later, Liberty.

I want to get everybody a little gift.” “Sure.” Liberty gleefully agreed to the idea.

The sisters had been busy with their lives.

It had been a while since they went shopping together.

It was nine o’clock after they had dinner and retail therapy.

Serenity returned to the villa on the hilltop with the presents in the car.

Zachary would arrive home at half-past nine.

The guy would be mad if he reached home before her.

He hoped to open his eyes to his beloved wife every day and find her waiting for him at home during

his return at night.

Zachary adored Serenity but so did Serenity Zachary.

The chauffeur slowed down the vehicle as they approached the residence.

It did not take long before he pulled up and turned his head back to say, ““Missus, there’s a car parked

out front and blocking the entrance of the residence.” Straightening her back against the seat, Serenity

looked up ahead and saw a red sports car parked in front of her house gate.

The driveway past the gate was wide enough for several cars to park there, but the red sports car was

parked horizontally, blocking the entrance to the house.

The chauffeur pressed the honk.

Serenity’s personal bodyguards got out of the car and went over to the sports car.

There was someone in the sports car.

With the bodyguards drawing close, the person in the sports car opened the car door and got out.

It was an unfamiliar woman.

The woman was dressed in a red dress that rippled along the breeze as she got out of the red sports

car.

“Who are you looking for, miss? Can you please move your car? You can’t park here.

You’re blocking Mrs. York’s vehicle from entering the house.”
