Chapter 1785

Chapter 1785

"Liberty, is Mr.Lewis being discharged from the hospital today?"

Serenity asked her sister through the phone, "Didn’t you say that it would take a while for him to be

discharged from the hospital?"

"Mr.Lewis was making a fuss about wanting to be discharged. He did so from the very beginning, but

the doctor always advised him against it.I wonder why it’s different today. The doctor said that he was

good to go home. The doctor also said that he needs to rest for a while at home before he can start

rehab."

Liberty sounded a bit helpless.

"Mr.Lewis’s mood is as unpredictable as the weather in June."

Though, she could also understand where he was coming from; she would go crazy too if she had to lie

down every day.

"Now that there is no need for IV infusion, it’s not a big problem recuperating at home.I think it's better

for him to go home.He can go out for a stroll in his wheelchair every day and breathe in some fresh air

to improve his mood.I heard that a good mood speeds up recovery."

Liberty murmured in agreement, "I’ve helped him pack his things.Zachary brought Sonny to the hospital

as he said he wanted to see Dunc.Since Sonny is here at the hospital, it’s hard not to go see his

father.I’m currently taking Sonny to visit his father, although we can only see him through the glass

window."

Serenity had no objections to Liberty’s arrangements.

"I'm going back now, Liberty.Let’s talk later."novelbin

"Okay, drive slowly,"

Liberty urged Serenity.

After ending the call with her sister, Liberty turned and looked at her in-laws and her son in the

distance.

The old couple took turns holding Sonny.

The love for their grandson was unprecedented.

After a few minutes of silence, Liberty walked toward her in-laws.

"Mr.and Mrs.Brown, Hank doesn’t need you guys to take care of him now.You should have some rest,

and eat something."

Liberty carried her son from Mrs.Brown’s arms as she prepared to leave the hospital after fetching

Duncan from his ward.

She had advised the elders to go home, but Mrs.Brown was unwilling to leave the hospital. She feared

that her son would be announced dead once they had left the building.

Although there was nothing that they could do by staying, they could at least be the first to know if

anything happened to Hank.

"You don’t have to worry about us, Liberty. We'll be okay.Sonny said that he’s going to attend

kindergarten soon.Are the registrations done?"

It was already halfway through summer break.

"Yeah, it was already done long ago. He’ll start kindergarten on the 1st of September."

Mrs.Brown nodded.

Then, she asked Sonny about the kindergarten he was attending and learned that her grandson was

attending the finest kindergarten in all of Wiltspoon.

Mrs.Brown thought of something to say to Sonny, but she held her tongue for some reason.

Liberty told her son to greet his grandparents goodbye and proceeded to put him down as they got

ready to leave.

As Mr.and Mrs.Brown gazed at the backs of the mother and son, Mrs.Brown said, "Sonny is going to

attend such a splendid kindergarten, while Lucas can only attend the town kindergarten.

Chelsea complained that the fees were too expensive, about five thousand per semester.

"Hank’s decision to leave Sonny in Liberty’s custody was the right move.Poor Lucas, how could he ever

compete with Sonny? Sonny has an aunt who married into a rich family.Serenity adores Sonny to

death, she wouldn’t let Sonny lose at the starting line."

"Don’t be bitter about it.Sonny will always be our grandson. He will still call us his grandparents even

after Liberty and her sister raised him into an upstanding man. He’ll always be a Brown."

Mrs.Brown thought about it and stopped lamenting that her grandsons were treated differently.
