Chapter 1748

Chapter 1748

Trenton, who was told everything, was broken and confused.

He had planned on becoming a civil servant in the future, but he never expected his parents and sister

to commit such a grave crime, which closed off his path to becoming a civil servant.

What was even harder for him to accept was that his own parents had killed his sister’s biological

father.

He and Camryn shared the same mother, but how did their mother treat Camryn? After learning the

truth, Trenton finally understood why his parents were so cold to Camryn.

It turned out that it was because of the death of his uncle.

Trenton felt that it was right for Camryn to avenge her father and punish her relatives.novelbin

After all, it was his parents’ fault for committing such heinous crimes.

However, they were still his biological parents. He found it difficult to accept that his sister, whom he had

always respected, treated his parents this way.

Since learning the truth, Trenton had been avoiding Camryn. He had been staying at his classmate’s

house and was not willing to meet Camryn no matter how many times she came looking for him.

Fortunately, Trenton did not seek the Chandlers and the Joyners.

As such, he did not listen to the instigations of both families.

Trenton was not an unreasonable person, he just needed time to accept such domestic calamity.

Upon seeing Callum escorting Camryn out, Dalton sneered and muttered, "Why're you pretending to be

so considerate now? You knew Cam can’t see, but you still wanted her to send flowers and food

personally."

Camryn did not listen to him and insisted on continuing to operate Spring Blossoms.

She spent most of her time during the day in the flower shop.

Dalton pondered the reason Camryn was reluctant to close down her flower shop.

First, she had a good relationship with the two shop assistants.

They would lose their jobs if Camryn closed down the shop.

Second, she liked flowers and plants.

Thirdly, she probably did it for Callum.

She liked Callum, but it was something she could not get over.

Although she wanted to move on, she was reluctant.

If she really wanted to move on, close down her flower shop, work in her company 24/7, and go on

countless business trips, then she would not be able to give Callum a chance to pursue her.

"Camryn."

Dalton got out of his car and walked toward her.

"Mr.York," he greeted Callum politely.

Callum responded in kind.

Camryn tilted her head toward Callum and said softly, "Callum, we’ll be going. You should go back to

work."

Callum was reluctant to let her go, but he had to.

He looked at Dalton and muttered, "Mr.Mitchell, I'll temporarily leave my Camryn in your care. After you

are done talking about business, give me a call.I'll go pick up my Camryn."

He intentionally emphasized that Camryn was "his" in front of Dalton’s face.

Camryn kept silent.

She was too lazy to rectify the words of that domineering man.

Any effort to do so would be futile anyway.

After all, he was free to say whatever he wanted.

He kept telling everyone he met that she was his fiancée when they were not engaged yet.

Everyone in Wiltspoon was under the impression that Camryn was really his fiancée.

Nobody would listen to her explanation, as everyone already believed in his words.

She felt helpless.

"I see you’re as shameless as ever, Mr.York.Last I checked, Camryn’s last name is still Newman.Since

when did she become yours? Say that again once you actually marry her."

Dalton liked to go head-to-head with Callum whenever they met.

"When my eventual wedding with Camryn is held, I will definitely ask you to be my best man.Given

your relationship with Camryn, I’m sure you'd be most delighted to be the best man.Watch as Camryn

happily becomes my prettiest, most dazzling bride."

Dalton thought to himself, ‘...this man is the biggest scoundrel among scoundrels"
