Chapter 633 The Asset Of The Nation

Very quickly, Tyson arrived at the Eastern Military District and met with Commander Lowe.

The man was nearing his fifties and had tanned and harsh features. He kept a short beard and

emanated an imposing aura.

Bowing, Tyson greeted, "Good day, Commander Lowe.”

Elijah laughed heartily and welcomed him, "Ah, it's Tyson! Come on, have a seat!"

Despite the commander's invitation, Tyson did not take a seat right away. Waving his hand, one of his

men entered with a scroll of calligraphy in his hands.

Tyson unrolled the scroll and explained with a smile, "Commander Lowe, I thought I would bring you a

gift since I'm visiting. I got a famous Chinese calligraphy master, Simon Qing, to write this. I hope this is

to your liking."

Elijah stretched his neck slightly to take a look, along with his subordinates.

On the parchment were a few words written in Chinese. The Nation's Asset.

The large strokes were strong, immaculate, and exquisite.

Simon Qing was a famous calligraphy master in the East, and it was rare to own one of his writings.

Furthermore, this particular piece of calligraphy was a masterpiece on its own.

Everybody appreciated the artistry and craftsmanship and agreed that it was an intricate piece of work.

With a smile, Tyson continued to speak to Elijah, "Commander Lowe, the words on this calligraphy

means 'The Nation's Asset', and I think they describe you perfectly. You are the only man who I think

can live up to this label. Haha."

Elijah Lowe was the commander-in-chief of the Eastern Military District and was extremely influential.

Naturally, everyone in the room thought that he was worthy of these few words too.

They were convinced that Tyson put much thought into the gift and he had hit a sweet spot.

However, much to everyone's surprise, Elijah shook his head and waved his hands, "No, no, no. There

are many more capable men in this nation. Like General Xavier Stars from Brimmopolis."

"There's also Lucas Ziegler from the South, and Zach Hill from the West!"

"And then, there's the General of the North, the nation's God of War Ares. I can never surpass thatnovelbin

man!"

"He is known as the nation's pillar. How could I even compare myself to him? No, no. I am definitely not

worthy."

Upon hearing this, Tyson was stunned -so was everyone else.

The General of the North was the nation's pillar, and Elijah Lowe dared not accept this calligraphy

scroll. What's going on?

Surely the giver of the gift can't just take it back and scurry out of the place

in shame?

Tyson was, after all, an experienced man when it came to pleasantries. After a short pause, he

recovered his senses and responded with a diplomatic smile, "The General of the North, or the God of

War Ares, is definitely the nation's pillar. However, Commander Lowe, you are also an asset of the

nation in my eyes!"

"I suppose you have a good relationship with the General of the North since you are both the nation's

pillars?"

Elijah let out a meaningful smile and nodded as he said, "Yes, I do have a good relationship with him."

Tyson quickly took the opportunity and suggested, "Since that is the case, why don't you hold onto this

calligraphy first? When the chance comes, you can always gift it to the General of the North. It would

be the perfect arrangement."

Elijah threw him a glance and said slowly, "Alright, sure. I will gift this to the General of the North. I

suppose he will be very

happy to receive your gift too."

"Don't worry. You will see the man in a few days' time. I assure you that he will also see this calligraphy

scroll," Elijah informed.

Elijah got his men to safe keep the gift. Thereafter, he invited Tyson to have a seat and got one of the

National Guards to serve them tea.

Sipping on the drink casually, Elijah asked, "I just returned from Brimmopolis, and now you're here.

Come on, tell me why you're here with such urgency."

Left with no choice, Tyson flashed a bitter smile and narrated how his son offended Liam Davis and

was sentenced in a public hearing today.

Side-eyeing Tyson, Elijah clarified, "Tyson, are you asking me to help your son?”

"This is a tall order!"
