Chapter 299 My Name Is Joseph Queen
In the meantime, a grand reception was being held at the Channing University to show appreciation for
the funds raised from the charity auction.
Zac Zimmerman, Principal of Channing University, Francis Talbot, Mayor of Channing City, Louis
Busch, Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Jude Hay, President of the Channing
Charity Foundation, had all graced the ceremony.
Nathan, Penny, as well as the staff members, teaching faculty, and students of the university were at
the ceremony too.
The one hundred million donated by Nathan Cross was also used to set up a scholarship fund for the
high-achieving students apart from the construction of the new research facility.
Jude Hay was extremely upset at the attention which everyone was showering on Nathan and Penny.
Before he could even see the money, the one hundred million donated by Nathan
Cross was already presented to the Channing University.

When Penny passed by Sycamore Avenue, a van swerved into the woman's path suddenly and
brushed against her car.

matters with the driver of the van.

Just as the hooligans were about to attack Penny, a black Mercedes-Benz suddenly stopped next to
them, and a man got out of the car. He was very well-groomed and had a unique boyish allure.
It was Joseph Queen!
After Joseph Queen got off the car, he winked discreetly at the hooligans, before reprimanding them in
a righteous tone, "Stop now! Shame on you guys for bullying a lady under broad daylight. Apologize to
her immediately! Otherwise, I won't let you guys off."
The yellow-haired guy shot Joseph Queen an understanding look, before cursing him and charging
towards him.
When Penny Smith saw that things were becoming worse, she said to Joseph at once, "Sir, these
people are not to be trifled with, you should leave immediately."
Joseph Queen gave Penny a comforting smile and replied, "Babe, don't be scared. No one would be
able to hurt you with me around."
Before Penny could reply, the man had already started throwing kicks and punches at the hooligans.
Penny Smith was astonished. Despite being outnumbered, Joseph Queen had managed to defeat the
hooligans singlehandedly and they had scurried away and escaped in their van.
Joseph Queen walked over to Penny Smith again and said with a smile, "Babe, are you alright?"
Penny Smith was filled with gratitude for the man and she replied, "I'm fine. Thank you so much for
your help." "My name is Joseph Queen. How may I address you?" Joseph Queen introduced himself,
keeping the charming smile on his face.
Penny answered, "I'm Penny Smith and I'm so lucky to have your help. I really can't imagine what
would have happened if you were not here."
Joseph Queen said with a chuckle, "I guess people call this fate? You met with an accident and I just
happened to pass by the same spot. Isn't this divinely guided? Since we're destined to meet each
other, can I have the honor of treating Ms. Smith to a cup of coffee?"
Penny Smith was just about to reply, when a BMW 5 Series sped towards her, and pulled up right next
to her.
Nathan, who was carrying Queenie in his arms, got out of the car.
