Chapter 1735

Colin was highly skilled in the art of interrogation. He had a slew of techniques up his sleeves and agood eye at judging what was suitable for every captive.

His impressive portfolio even included extorting classified secrets from foreign military generals.

Thus, getting answers from a no-name punk like Willow was a mere walk in the park.Contents belong to NovelDrama.Org

As shrilling screams escaped from the washroom, everyone in the cabin could not help but feel alittle sorry for the gang leader.

At the same time, the passengers looked apprehensively at Nathan, who appeared way moremerciless than they had expected.

However, the atmosphere changed drastically when Nathan presented his military ID to the cabincrew and injured air marshals.

The female crew members began fawning over the handsome photo Nathan had on his ID as theair marshals double-checked to make sure that the ID was indeed Nathan's.

The crew's eyes then roamed to the words written beside his photo. When they saw “General” and“Commander-In-Chief of the North Army” printed on the ID, their jaws remained agape for aconsiderable amount of time.

One of the air stewardesses stuttered in astonishment, “Y-You're the General of the North? Y-You'vegot to be kidding me... This ID has to be fake...”

Nathan was not unfamiliar with such a reaction. If he was someone else, he too would havedifficulty believing that the seemingly forbearing man was Eurasia's God of War-cum-General of theNorth.

Amid the crew's reverence, the passengers on the plane turned to look at Nathan. Suddenly, a manexclaimed, “Oh, my goodness! It's really the General! I saw him during the parade two years ago!He was standing beside the president if I'm not mistaken. Many of my female friends talked abouthim, commenting on how handsome he looked.”

The said parade two years ago was aired on national television, and almost the entire nation tunedin to watch it. Once the man brought up the event, many of the other passengers and cabin crewbegan to have faint recollections.

It was not long before they connected the dots, realizing that the General who appeared ontelevision, dressed formally in military uniform, was indeed the same man standing before them.

While the attire did paint a completely different image of the man, his distinctive features andoutstanding combative abilities confirmed his identity.

The first-class cabin, previously the site of a ruthless brawl, instantly turned into a fan meet location.

The passengers clamored for Nathan's attention, showering him with admiration and a plethora ofquestions about his war anecdotes.

Some of the air stewardesses even mustered the courage to ask him for a selfie.

Nathan felt flattered and amused by the outpour of admiration.

Unfortunately, he was unable to reciprocate the overwhelming adoration given to him, as hisoccupation required utmost confidentiality. Politely, he declined to answer the questions andrejected the selfie requests.

While the air stewardesses felt inadvertently disappointed at the lost photo op, they werenonetheless honored to have spoken to the one and only General of the North. It was anexperience they could flaunt to others for a lifetime.

At the side, Penny and Kylie watched on proudly as Nathan stood in the spotlight.

“Penny, you're so blissful to have such a superb husband,” Kylie remarked.

Penny giggled and gave Kylie a well-meaning reminder. “You don't have to be envious, my dear. Ithink you're at the age at which you can find an equally amazing partner of your own.

You just need to be more active in looking for one.

Kylie guessed that she was going to say that. Shaking her head, she promptly announced that shehad no intention of looking for a significant other as of yet.

But the truth was that Nathan had simply set the bar too high. I doubt I can find anyone else whocan impress me... I guess I'll be single forever...

After some time, the first-class cabin quieted down as Nathan preoccupied himself with Penny.

Colin finally reemerged from the washroom; he strode over to Nathan with a serious look on hisface. Leaning into his ear, he whispered, “The orchestrator of the attack is a man called Faustus.”
