In no time at all, Thaddeus and his gang were arrested, cuffed, and taken away by the SWAT team.
Only Nathan and Kylie remained in the private room, along with Milton, Mavis, and all of Kylie's former classmates.
Milton finally broke down and crawled toward Nathan and Kylie. "General! Kylie! I was in the wrong too. Please do whatever you want with me to soothe your anger!"
Mavis and the others simply stood there and watched.
"I will let this pass just this once. Watch what you do from now on," Nathan replied coldly.
Upon hearing those words, Milton's eyes lit up, and he gave Nathan a solemn bow.
Seeing that most of the tension in the room had been resolved, Mavis walked over and shook Kylie's arms. "Kylie! Your boyfriend is so amazing!" she said, smiling.
Kylie smiled back. Well, he is amazing, indeed, but I'm just his cousin-in-law.
