Clifford frowned and objected, “It doesn't seem like that will work!”
Boris replied, “Well, I think they will do a perfect job. The captain of Armageddon, also known as theDark Lord, is the elder brother of the vicecaptain who was killed by Nathan Cross back then. Thatman has been waiting for an opportunity to avenge his younger brother.
However, as our nation is too strong and forbids mercenaries from entering, he could not get achance to kill Nathan Cross.”
Boris paused and continued, “If we turn a blind eye and let the Dark Lord and his troops in, I'm surethey will be able to finish off Nathan Cross. After all, they are professional killers.”
Boris fixed his gaze on Clifford and emphasized, “We don't have to do anything except for turning ablind eye and let the Dark Lord and his army into Eurasia.”
With a deep crease between his brows, Clifford replied deliberately, “If we do that and theArmageddon does not succeed, we'll both be doomed if others find out that we're behind it.”
Boris laughed it off and replied, “No one is gonna know if we keep mum about it. We won't be takingpart in it directly anyway. Regardless of whether Armageddon fails or succeeds, it would be theDark Lord who's seeking out Nathan Cross for revenge and it's none of our business.”
Clifford pondered over it for a while and replied, “I'll just pretend that I have never heard of the plan.”
After saying that, Clifford stood up and took his leave.
Boris stared at Clifford's figure and a cold glint flashed across his eye.
His subordinate leaned in and asked softly, “Mr. Tucker, Mr. Davier does not seem too keen to bepart of the plan. If that's the case, should we still carry out the intended plan and contact the Dark
Lord to come to Eurasia and kill Nathan Cross?”novelbin
Boris let out a cold snort and replied, “Of course. Not only do we need to help the Dark Lord enterEurasia, we will also provide information about Nathan Cross' whereabouts to the man. If need be,we should also supply the Armageddon with weapons. I only have one objective, that is for NathanCross to die.”
“Understood,” his subordinate replied.
Nathan had been really busy ever since he and Kylie arrived at Brimmopolis.
He only had some free time after sending Wilfred back to jail.
The entire time, Kylie was either following Nathan around or being cooped up at the hotel.
Seeing that Nathan was finally free, she grabbed the chance and insisted that Nathan take her toexplore Brimmopolis' night market.
Nathan had no choice but to oblige.
When they walked past a nightclub, Kylie was thrilled and dragged Nathan inside to have a fewdrinks with her. She was curious to see how nightlife in Brimmopolis was like.
After they entered the nightclub, instead of taking a seat at a booth, both of them chose to seat atthe bar instead.
Kylie ordered a glass of Bloody Mary while Nathan only got himself a soda. The man was not fondof drinking alcohol and did not allow himself to indulge. The only reason he was there at thenightclub was because Kylie wanted to go.
Kylie rolled her eyes at Nathan and said, “Nathan, why are you drinking water at a nightclub? You'reno fun at all!”
Nathan laughed and replied, “Unless it's under extremely harsh and cold weather conditions likethat in the North and alcohol is needed to warm up the body, I would choose not to drink any.”
Kylie was utterly speechless!
She noticed that there were a lot of clubbers dancing on the dance floor, both men and women.There were also quite a few foreigners and she could not help but want to join in the fun withNathan as well.
However, her request to dance together was rejected by Nathan.
“Nathan, you're such a spoilsport! If you're not going, I'll go myself. I need to relax,” Kylie said andhead off for the dance floor immediately.
Even though the girl had a demure and graceful appearance, she was a rather good dancer andlooked really hot in action.
Very quickly, she managed to attract the attention of quite a number of people in the crowd, inparticular a few dark-skinned men, who were ogling at her slender waist and long legs with alecherous look on their faces.
Kylie noticed the way that she was being stared at and was displeased. As such, she decided toleave the dance floor and rejoined Nathan at the table.
However, those few dark-skinned men followed her.
The leader of the group grinned at Kylie and said, “Hey babe, can I buy you a drink?”
“No thanks!” Kylie rejected coldly.
Not wanting to give up, the man continued to say in a cheeky manner, “You don't have to play hardto get. We can definitely give you more pleasure than what you get from your boyfriend.”
Kylie's expression darkened and was fuming with rage.
Just then, Nathan spoke. “I'll give you guys ten seconds to get out of my sight.”
The leader of the group put one hand on Nathans shoulder and spoke, “What did you say? Say thatagain?”
