Chapter 1617

Wilfred glanced towards the two men flanking him. Those two were his left and right-hand men, thetwo Reapers, Cassius and Aziel.

The man said to his two subordinates, “Seems like it's time for the both of you to personally enterthe battle.”

Cassius and Aziel exchanged a meaningful glance at each other when they heard the order andreplied in unison, “Understood.”

Right after, the two men picked up their weapons from the weapon stand next to them and strodetowards Nathan, walking side by side.

Cassius was using a sword while Aziel's weapon was a spear.

Even though the both of them appeared as if they were strolling, their pace was, in fact, extremelyswift, and just in a split second, they had reached where Nathan was.

Aziel bellowed, “Ares of the North, take that!

Ha!”

The man let out a shout as he charged his spear towards Nathan at the speed of lighting, aiming athis throat.

Nathan took a step back and leaned back a little, just nice for him to avoid Aziel s weapon.

However, Aziel did not stop just at that. He carried on charging his spear towards Nathan's foreheadand shoulders.

Avoiding his moves was like a stroll in the park for Nathan, who sidestepped effortlessly to dodgethe man's attacks.

Aziel bellowed again and cracks appeared in the ground where he was standing as he leaped upinto the air. Holding firmly onto his spear with both hands, he aimed for Nathan's head as he landed.

With a move of his feet, Nathan easily avoided his attack once again.

Missing the target, Aziel's spear struck on the floor heavily with a loud bang instead! Instantly, theporcelain tiles laid on the floor were shattered into pieces.

Just then, Cassius, who had been waiting for a good opportunity, made his move, slashing hissword towards Nathan rapidly.

His movements were almost swifter than lightning, turning the atmosphere around him chilly.

Wilfred and everyone else in the Lieberman family felt a rush of excitement as they watched on.

On the other hand, Colin and the Elite Eight had solemn expressions on their faces!

Kylie couldn't help but exclaim, “Nathan! Be careful!”

Nathan let out a cold snort and raised his right hand in one graceful movement...

Clang!

With a flick of his fingers on Cassius's sword, the blade shattered into pieces at once.

Cassius' eyes widened in terror.

At the same instant when Nathan's fingers touched the blade of the sword, he also flicked a

piece of the shattered blade towards Cassius.

Cutting through the air, the shattered fragment shot towards Cassius like a bullet.

Aziel widened his eyes and gaped in disbelief.

Nathan pulled the head of the spear towards him with slight force and Aziel was thrown off balance,falling towards Nathan.

At the same instant Nathan pulled the spear towards him, he had also pushed it back in theopposite direction.

Bam!

The shaft of the spear banged against Aziel's chest, shattering his chest bones. The force was sopowerful that Aziel's internal organs were also damaged entirely.

Blood spewed out of Aziel's mouth instantly. After he staggered a few steps backward, the manslumped onto the ground. His face was drained of color and was on the brink of death.

Nathan tossed the spear on the ground and said coldly, “Whose turn is it now?”

Seeing that no one else from the Lieberman family dared to step forward, Nathan landed his gazeon Wilfred and said in an aloof tone, “I had thought that the Lieberman family is better than that. Sothis is all you've got?”

“Wilfred, on account of your efforts and contributions to the nation, I'll give you two options. The firstoption would be for me to exterminate your Lieberman family! Either that or you can choose to takeresponsibility for your wrongdoings and be punished by the law. You shall go back to prison andyour Lieberman family shall retire from the scene completely!”novelbin
