Chapter 1599

Boris and Clifford were both members of the Great Cabinet, but they've always had a frayedrelationship.

Despite this, they were both the most popular candidates for the presidency.

Where work was concerned, their collaborations had been both open and secretive in nature.

And now, it was all thanks to Nathan that they both had the same goal to strive for. They had aconcrete reason to work together.

“Well, Mr. Tucker. Who should we send over to handle Nathan Cross?”

Boris pondered over this briefly before responding. “Why not Quirrel Simmons.

Ah, good ol' Quirrell. Of course. The Dragon.

There was even a popular saying in the army— First came the Dragon of the South, and behind himlay the God of War to the North.

It would seem that many people in the army assumed that The Dragon or Quirrell would be able tofight Nathan, the God of War.

Many believed that Quirrell was more powerful than Nathan.

There had been whispers about Quirrell's alleged crime. If he had done nothing wrong, he wouldn'thave been cast aside in favor of Nathan. Quirrell could have easily been Eurasia's God of War.

Clifford was also surprised to hear the name.

Quirrell was the protege he pulled up with his bare hands. However, when he ran a job in the South,he ended up at the beck and call of Boris Tucker.

This made Clifford dissatisfied with Quirrel's behavior. Although his strength was incomparable, hispersonality was not particularly likable. Quirrell came off as snobbish, capricious, and have nosense of loyalty. This was something Clifford found hard to reconcile with.

Quirrell was initially someone employed by Clifford. After his stint in the South and his switching ofallegiances in favor of Boris, Quirrell would later go on to offend Boris, which led to Boris'dissatisfaction as well.

So far, he had not only managed to offend his mentor, but also his leader.

Very soon, Quirrell was transferred into the logistics department, where he faded into

obscurity. Out of sight, out of mind.

If Boris had not mentioned Quirrell, Clifford would have nearly forgotten this person.

Suddenly, it dawned upon Clifford that Quirrell was the very person that could teach Nathan alesson.

Firstly, Quirrell was already known as the Dragon of the South. This meant he gained fame wellbefore Nathan did.

It could be said that where strength was concerned, Quirrell s abilities were not beneath that ofNathan.

Secondly, Quirrell was once his protege and Boris's subordinate. This meant they already had aworking relationship with the man, which would make this so much easier.

Therefore, Quirrell would be the perfect candidate for this.

“I think this is a good idea, Mr. Tucker,” said Clifford mildly. “Quirrell is the right man for the job.”

Boris smiled. “It's settled then. Quirrell will handle this.”

At the Cloud Palace restaurant, Nathan and Kylie had just finished their meal. They then gesturedat a nearby waiter to complete an order for Penny.

Nathan then summoned Colin and said, “Get the car ready. I'm going to have some food sent overto Penny.”

“Yes, Sir.”

Colin took the elevator to the underground

parking lot.

Suddenly, Colin noticed a man forcibly dragging a woman over to a dark corner of the parking lot.He had his hand over her mouth, and she was struggling to break loose.

Is he going to hurt her?

Colin's face darkened. As a soldier, he could not let this slide.

With long strides, he caught up to the man.

In that corner, he noticed that the man had one hand over the woman's mouth while his otherroamed across her body freely.

“Let her go!”novelbin

Colin stepped forward and placed a hand on the man's shoulder.

Without warning, the man reacted quickly by turning around and slamming a punch at Colin. Notonly was he fast, but he seemed to have quite a bit of strength.

Not bad.

Colin was a little surprised. He then raised his hand and caught the man's fist on time.

Bam!

Colin then retaliated and swung another punch in return. His fist collided heavily with the pervert'sface and smashed through the bone. Blood was seen oozing out of where he was struck.

The impact was such that the pervert had no time to scream and merely crumpled onto the ground.

Colin eyed the victim with concern and asked, “Miss, are you alright?”

However, Colin had not expected the reaction he was about to receive from this woman. Shesuddenly let out a piercing shriek and yelled at Colin. “Help! A pervert! He's trying to kill me!”
