Peter didn't believe that Ben would go down on his knees and beg Nathan for mercy.

Colin clarified, "To put it simply, they will hold one of each other's family member as a hostage. Thechief would send his grandson to the Lindberg Family as a hostage. Similarly, the Lindberg's has tosend a family member to Africa to act as a hostage. That way, if either party goes back on theirwords, their heirs would benovelbin
killed."
Nathan frowned and asked, "So what does that have to do with me?"
Colin replied, "By acknowledging you and your daughter as a member of the Lindberg's, they couldthen send your daughter in as a hostage."

Nathan's fierce gaze shot towards Colin, who lowered his head immediately as beads of coldsweats formed on his forehead.
