He walked over and sat in front of her, reaching his hands to embrace her waist.

Madelyn muttered while thinking about Thea.
She felt as if she was on her wit’s end trying to figure out the person helping Thea.
Suddenly, her phone rang.
She picked up the phone, answered, and put it on speaker mode. Then, she put it aside.
“Ms. Gabriel, James met someone in Messiah earlier tonight.”
Madelyn asked coldly, “Who?”
“We just found out his identity. He’s Blake. He was arrested a few years ago and was imprisoned by the
Emperor in an underground prison in the Capital. He’s the Assassin King and the founder of the Dark
Castle.”
“Oh?”
Madelyn touched her chin pensively and murmured, “What is James planning by meeting with Blake at
such a time?”
“Unfortunately, the moles we planted in Messiah have already been uprooted.”
“Alright. Keep an eye on James.”
“Also, Quincy is back.”
