Chapter 960

Jonathan sat on the chair, looking at Thea. He met her harsh words with a smile. “I was chased out the

last time, but I’ve returned with better medical skills. I lost to James at the medical conference and now

I’m back for round two. Without a doubt, I am one of the best medical doctors in the world. Thus, who

better than me to prove that Goryeon medicine is superior?”

Jonathan declared proudly.

“Shut up, you show-off!”

“Jonathan, do you know no shame? Get lost. You’re not welcome in Medical Street, nor are you

welcome in Sol.”

“How dare a loser act so arrogant?!!”

“Get out of here before James shows up! Otherwise, you’ll lose whatever shred of dignity you havenovelbin

left!”

Many people hurled curses and verbal abuse at him.

Even onlookers got caught up in the commotion and started to shout at him.

Jonathan, however, remained unflappable.

James was his most significant threat.

Defeating James would be equivalent to beating every doctor in Medical Street.

He knew that James had medical skills that far surpassed most people, but this time he was confident.

“Is that so? I’d love for him to come.”

Jonathan looked at Thea mockingly. “I’ll give you one hour, Thea. If James doesn’t show up in an hour,

then I’ll announce to the public that James is a coward that is too afraid to compete with me. Also, we’ll

move to shut down Century Hospital by force. I suggest you stop embarrassing yourselves.”

“B*stard!”

Gladys stepped forward and pointed her finger at Jonathan as she yelled, “Who the f*ck are you to act

like you own this whole hospital? James’ skills are unmatched! You’re nothing compared to him”

She cursed and spat in Jonathan’s face.

Jonathan’s expression darkened, and his face turned black.

However he chose to ignore her provocation and closed his eyes as if to continue waiting for James.

Since all the doctors at Century Hospital lost at the medical conference, Thea knew they were no

match for Jonathan.

She walked to the side, fished out her phone and called James.

“Honey, where are you?”

James was already en route to Medical Street.

“What’s wrong?” he asked with concern.

“You need to get here now! Universal Hospital is challenging Century Hospital to a match. They’re

giving you one hour to arrive. If you don’t show up, you’ll be declared as a coward to the rest of the

world and we will be forced to close Century Hospital.”

“I’m on the way,” said James. He furrowed his brows.

“H-Hurry!”

“Alright.”

James hung up the phone.

Then, he closed his eyes.

He was perplexed.

He had gone against Jonathan previously at the medical conference, the gap between their skills was

far.

What was his trump card this time?

James could not make any educated guesses. All he could do was go to Medical Street to have a look

at things.

However, no matter what Jonathan was playing at, James was not afraid.

Compared to the time of the medical conference, his skills had improved by leaps and bounds.

After getting the Medical Book Volume Two, his medical skills transcended human expectations.

While James rushed to Medical Street, a conversation was happening on the top floor of Centennial

Corporation.

“Ms. Gabriel, they’re on the way. They’ll take about half a day to arrive in Cansington. Meanwhile,

Jonathan has already incited a fight at Century Hospital. Thea has shown up, but James has yet to

appear. However, he should already be on the way.”

A young man in his early 20s stood before Madelyn and respectfully delivered the news.

“Mhm.”

Madelyn sat on a leather chair and lightly drummed her fingers on the table. She nodded and asked,

“Have you investigated the source of James’ medical skills? Was it inherited from the Cadens, or did he

learn it from another source?”

The man quickly responded, “I did. His medical skills were passed down to him by Thomas when he

was young, but he was only taught the absolute basics. His current skills are nothing reminiscent of the

Cadens’ ancestral medical techniques. As such, he must’ve learned elsewhere.”

Madelyn said flatly, “Whatever, that’s not important anymore. Even if his medical skills were

comparable to Tobias, the descendant of the Medicine King Valley has shown up. His skills are truly

unparalleled. Not even Tobias comes close to being as proficient as him. James is but a child

compared to him.”
