Chapter 2254

Farley spoke very feebly.

“I won’t make it. You’re the Ancient Clan’s only hope, Quintina. You’ll have to lead the clan in thefuture. I sent you to Welkin Academy to foster a good relationship with them to prevent the DivinitySect from seizing the opportunity to destroy our clan when the news of my death spreads.”

Farley knew his death was inevitable a long time ago. Thus, he has made arrangements ever since.

He sent Quintina to the Welkin Academy because he wanted the Ancient Clan to establish arelationship with them. If the Ancient Clan encountered a crisis, the Welkin Academy would come totheir aid.

“Father, is there really no hope?”

Quintina was not willing to give up.

Farley replied weakly, “I’m beyond saving. I’ve been suppressing the Demonic Energy for so manyyears. My True Energy is almost exhausted. The Demonic Energy will overcome me when my TrueEnergy is depleted.

“You have to be strong, Quintina. You’re a Grand Supernatural and have limitless potential. It’s apity I won’t be to last long enough to witness the day you achieve that potential.”

Farley began walking her through the arrangements he had made in the event of his death.

That night, James was occupied with many thoughts.novelbin

He had learned of the condition of the Ancient Clan’s leader, and he had to ability to save him.

However, James was worried about exposing himself if he lent a helping hand to Farley, as it wouldattract the attention of powerful opponents.

At that moment, he sought out Sophie’s advice.

Sophie said, “I can see that the Ancient Clan isn’t treacherous or evil. Just like Yoan, they arerighteous people. Since you’re in their territory, it’d be beneficial to help them. My suggestion is tosave him. You might even get a drop of their Ancient Blood as a reward. If they decide to betray youafter saving their clan leader, then just run away. There are a lot more other realms among theThree Thousand Worlds. It’s not a must that you stay in the Ancient Realm.”

Sophie provided her opinion on the matter. She thought it would be worth the gamble as the AncientClan would owe James a favor if James were to succeed.

The Ancient Clan was the strongest in the Ancient Realm. Moreover, the clan leader was thestrongest man in the Ancient Realm, meaning Farley was most likely the strongest person in theThree Thousand Worlds. It was worth the risk for such a powerful person to owe him a favor.

Additionally, Sophie also mentioned that James would face many troublesome matters when hereturned to Earth. It would be good for him to build rapport with powerful people.

James thought about it for a while and concluded that Sophie’s analysis made sense.

He decided to take a risk to secure a better future.

Then, James stood up and turned to leave.

Yoan noticed that James was about to leave the courtyard and could not help asking, “Where areyou going?”

James turned to Yoan and said, “I’m a little bored, so I’m going for a walk.”

“Alright, go on. However, you’re in the Ancient Clan’s territory, so don’t recklessly wander around.”

“Okay.” After the conversation with Yoan, James promptly departed.

James did not know where the Ancient Clan’s leader was staying. He headed to Mount Trinvard andnoticed a woman in a blue dress heading down the mountain before he could reach the mountain’speak.

Her eyes were bloodshot. It was evident she had been crying.

James walked over and greeted her. “Quintina.”

Quintina looked at James and asked, “It’s already late at night. Why are you roaming aroundinstead of being in the courtyard?”

James scanned their surroundings. After confirming no one was around, he whispered, “Is yourfather alright?”

“What do you mean?” Quintina looked puzzled about why James came late at night to check on herfather’s condition.

James whispered again, “I have a way to get rid of the Demonic Energy in your father’s body.”

“What?” Quintina was taken aback.
