Chapter 2062

They gave James an earful for acting recklessly in Hazted City.

James looked at the martial artists blocking his path and said calmly, “I came to see the OmniscientDeity. I will resolve the Hazted City's matter soon. First, I must see the Omniscient Deity.”

“Fine, wait here. I’ll report your visit.”

One of the martial artists turned and left.

The others looked at James warily.

James did not pay the martial artists’ hostility any mind.

To them, the Outsiders were powerful beings, and offending was a surefire way ti de.

If he were in their shoes, he would not want to see countless people die because one personoffended and angered these Outsiders.

Soon, the martial artist who left to report the visit returned.

“The Sect Leader will see you. You may proceed. The Sect Leader is in the back mountain.”

James ascended Mount Jade.

The Omniscient Deity sat on a rock in the back mountain of Mount Jade with a piece of strawdangling from his mouth. His face was sorrowful as he was deep in thought, worrying about thefuture of the earth’s humans.

“Lord Omniscient.”novelbin

James walked over and greeted him.

“Congratulations on arriving.” The Omniscient Deity nodded lightly.

James approached and sat down on a rock beside the Omniscient Deity.

The Omniscient Deity looked at him and sighed, saying, “You acted too recklessly this time, James.I know you merely wanted to save those women, but you should’ve at least done your research onthe type of place Hazted City was or who Tristens’ true identity esd. Your actions will result incountless sacrifices. When that happens, you’ll no longer be humanity’s hero but a sinner. Do youunderstand?”

The Omniscient Deity also reprimanded James' reckless actions.

Although Hazted City did not prohibit entry of the earth’s martial artists, most would not dare to stepfoot into the place.

Even the Omniscient Deity did not dare to cause trouble in Hazted City.

James, on the other hand, killed a person in the city. His actions could be seen as an invitation toblatantly challenge Tristen.

Tristen was a very powerful man.

He had already reached the Herculean Sixth Layer and was currently the strongest man on Earth.

Moreover, Hazted City’s Deputy City Lord and other senior authorities were also formidable peoplethemselves. Any one of them could wreak devastating damage to the earth.

James fell silent.

“Haah.”

The Omniscient Deity sighed gently and said, “Now that things have come to this, I’ll have to go toHazted City personally and ask for forgiveness to see if we can resolve this matter peacefully.”

James finally spoke, “That won’t be necessary, Lord Omniscient. I’ll resolve the trouble I caused onmy own.”

“Resolve?”

The Omniscient Deity stood up and looked at James, scolding him, “How are you going to fix thesituation? You’re simply gambling with the lives of humanity.”

James said, “The earth’s humans will never bow down to these Outsiders. I’ll challenge the Son ofHeaven and kill him in front of everyone! I’ll show these Outsiders that they can’t treat our kind asthey please.”

“Ha!” The Omniscient Deity laughed.

“You’re going to challenge the Son of Heaven? Do you know what rank he is? He already reachedthe Herculean Second Layer.”

James replied calmly, “So what?”

So what if the Son of Heaven was a Herculean Second Layer?

Two years ago, he managed to hurt the Son of Heaven.

He was much stronger than he used to be, and it would not be difficult for him to kill the Son ofHeaven.

“You?”

The Omniscient Deity was shocked by James’ nonchalant reply and expression. He carefullyobserved James and asked incredulously, “H-Have you grown stronger in the past two years?”

James smiled faintly and said, “Although I’m not absolutely unstoppable, it shouldn’t be a problemfor me to kill the Son of Heaven.”

The Omniscient Deity was relieved by James’ words.

“If that’s the case, I’ll come with you.”
