Chapter 1973

After James became a Supernatural, he left Mt. Thunder Pass and returned to Wyrmstead Palace.

As soon as he returned, Delainey showed up.

“Did you have any breakthroughs, James? You’re out pretty early.”

James nodded slightly and said, “Mhm. I’ve already advanced to a Supernatural.”

“Huh?” Delainey was shocked.

“Y-You’re only a Supernatural?”

James nodded and asked, “Yeah, what’s wrong?”

“B-But you killed a Supernatural powerhouse that had unlocked the Fourth Inner Gate.” Delaineywas shocked and could not believe James had only just become a Supernatural.

If James’ words were true, it meant he was not a Supernatural when he first returned. Then, howcould he kill a Supernatural that had unlocked the Fourth Inner Gate when he was not even aSupernatural?

James smiled and did not explain his resurrection.

“Let’s not talk about this. I plan to head to Lothian to see Winnie. Then, I’ll clean up those OverworldOutsiders. Could you help me sort out a document with all the powerful Overworld Outsidersinformation? I’ll eliminate them one by one.”

Hearing this, Delainey looked solemn.

“There are countless powerful Overworld Outsiders, James. A few of them are on par with Xain, some even above him. Are you seriously going to eliminate them? Do you have confidence in

winning?”

“Confidence?” James was not sure either.

He had never gone all out yet, so he was unsure of his strength at its peak.

“Although I don’t have a hundred percent confidence in winning, the Earth’s humans have beenoppressed for the past few years, and we must regain some dignity. We have to show thoseOverworld Outsiders that formidable humans exist on Earth.”

Delainey nodded and said, “Alright. I’ll go and prepare the document right now.”

“By the way, has there still been no news of the Omniscient Deity these few years?” asked James.

Delainey shook her head and said, “No. The Omniscient Deity has never shown himself.”

James harked back into the past.

From his memories, the last time he saw the Omniscient Deity was when they had gone to theChamber of Scriptures together.

James suspected in his heart, ‘Could it be the Omniscient Deity had obtained a secret techniquefrom the Chamber of Scriptures and has been in a closed-door meditation all these years? If not,why would he not show up when the Earth’s in such a chaotic situation?’

After thinking about it for a while, he put it behind him.

Delainey turned around and left to sort out the information about the Overworld Outsider’spowerhouses.

Soon, James obtained information about the Overworld Outsider’s powerhouses.

He saved it in his phone and boarded a private plane from Wyrmstead to Lothian.

Delainey accompanied him on the trip.

Initially, James wanted to travel alone.

However, Delainey said she had stayed in Wyrmstead for a few years, hardly ever leaving. Thus, she wanted to take the opportunity to go out for a walk.

James did not turn her down.

Delainey was originally a Mount Thunder Sect disciple but came to Wyrmstead to assist him.

Since she wanted to go out for a walk, James had no reason to refuse.

On the plane, James closed his eyes and rested.

Delainey sat beside him and glanced at him from time to time.

After James returned, she could sense that James was slightly different than he was three yearsago. However, she could not pinpoint what exactly had changed about him.

An invisible sense of attraction pulled her to him, making her subconsciously approach him.

James caught a whiff of her charming fragrance and opened his eyes. He coughed softly when hesaw Delainey’s whole body almost leaning on him.

Delainey regained her senses and blushed after realizing what she had just done.

‘W-What’s wrong with me?’

She gently shook her head and asked, “By the way, where have you been all these years, James?Three years ago, Floret Palace was demolished. Logically speaking, you wouldn’t have survived it.So, how are you still alive?”novelbin

She asked a question to divert her embarrassment.

“It’s a long story. I’ll tell you when I have the time.”

Regarding what happened to him, James did not explain much about it.

“Okay.”
