Chapter 1943

The Chamber of Scriptures’ custodian lightly flicked her hand, and a force swept out from hersleeve to engulf James.

His vision went blurry and when his eyes opened again he found himself on the Chamber ofScriptures’ first floor.

James was stumped.

It was impossible for him to marry the three women.

His only alternative is to locate Winnie as soon as possible. After he’s rescued her, he would nothave to worry about Maxine threatening him.

Suddenly, the Omniscient Deity came to mind.

The Omniscient Deity was probably the only other person who knew of Winnie’s whereabouts.

James left the Chamber of Scriptures and boarded his private plane to Mount Jade.

After half a day, the private plane arrived at Mount Jade.

James found the Omniscient Deity at the back of the mountain.

He was dressed in his usual white robe. He sat on a rock at the back of Mount Jade with a piece ofstraw in his mouth.

“You’re here.”

The Omniscient Deity did not turn around.

James walked over, sat on a rock beside the Omniscient Deity, and said, “Yes. I’ve run into someproblems recently.”

“Are you referring to Winnie’s kidnapping?”

“Mhm.” James nodded.

The Omniscient Deity knew Winnie had been kidnapped and James was not surprised since JadeSect had a worldwide intelligence network.

“Lord Omniscient, please tell me where Maxine is keeping Winnie.”

James looked at the Omniscient Deity desperately.

The Omniscient Deity said, “I can send someone to investigate it for you, but I can’t promise youanything. In fact, I’ve been watching Maxine for a while and am perplexed by what she’s thinking ortrying to accomplish.”

James stood up and said, “Thank you in advance.”

“I’ll do my best, but I can’t guarantee I’ll find her.”

James nodded.

If the Omniscient Deity could not find her, then no one else stood a chance of finding his daughter.

“I’ll take my leave first.”

James did not linger any longer.

After speaking with the Omniscient Deity, he turned and left.

James boarded his private plane and returned to Cansington.

Meanwhile, on Mount Bane…

After the intense battle on Mount Bane half a year ago, it had remained peaceful and anyone wasallowed to enter the area.novelbin

Since then, Conrad and Void Sect’s Grand Priestess, Juniper, settled on Mount Bane.

Conrad built a palace on Mount Bane.

At that moment, Conrad stood in the main hall of the magnificent palace. Sitting before him was aman who looked to be in his 20s. His guest wore a cyan robe and was running his fingers over abeautiful piece of jade in his hand.

“I wasn’t expecting you to pass through the crack of the seal to Earth, Sir.”

Conrad looked at the man and greeted him respectfully.

The sect Conrad belonged to was called Sacerdotal Sect.

Sacerdotal Sect was one of the best sects in the Overworld.

Moreover, their sect leader was one of the Overworld’s top ten powerhouses.

“You’re incompetent, Conrad. You’ve been on Earth for so long but haven’t conquered it.”

The man dressed in a cyan robe parted his lips and spoke casually.

“The situation isn’t what you think it is.”

Conrad immediately explained, “The earth’s martial artists were not as weak as we expected. Thereare strong people here that are on par with my strength. Previously, a fierce battle broke out onMount Bane, and even the Void Sect’s Grand Priestess was defeated. I’m incapable of goingagainst the humans on earth with my strength alone. I had no choice but to compromise for now.”

Conrad recounted the events of the competition for the mysterious fruit.

While speaking, he took out his phone and brought up some information on a number of people.

“These people are currently the strongest on Earth. Once we get rid of them, we can easily takeover the earth and prepare for our sect’s arrival.”

The man in the cyan robe carefully read through the information.
