Chapter 1933

James was not especially concerned about Winnie’s safety.

Given that almost all martial artists around the world had learned of the impending apocalypse, theywere all currently putting their efforts into practicing martial arts in order to deal with the approachingapocalypse. No one was out to make trouble.

He just thought that he was not a competent father.

After saying goodbye to the Callahan family, he did not stay any longer and quickly left Cansingtonfor Dragonville in the Southern Plains

Meanwhile, in Tacriyrus...

Tacriyrus was a country established by Sky.

Sky wished to establish a capital as well as a prosperous dynasty that would last for thousands ofyears.

Maxine had been assisting him for over a year. During this period of over a year, Tacriyrusdeveloped rapidly. With Maxine’s help, it conquered many neighboring countries using tactics, slymaneuvers, or brute force.

Right now, Tacriyrus covered a sizable area.

In the palace’s backyard in Tacriyrus, Maxine was sitting on a stone bench. She was in a whitedress and holding a sword in her hands. The sword bore a resemblance to the Primordial DragonBlade. The only difference was the color of the blade.

The Primordial Dragon Blade was golden, whereas this sword was black.

It was the Doomsday Sword, which was made in the Divine Sword Villa using dragon bones as wellas other unique materials.

She touched the Doomsday Sword with a calm expression. Her face was devoid of any emotion.

Then, a man in armor walked over. He knelt down on one knee and addressed her with respect,“Chancellor.”

Maxine did not turn around. “Speak,” she said indifferently.

“James has already departed Cansington for Southern Plains’ Dragonville,” said the armor-cladman.

Maxine was currently the Chancellor of Tacriyrus. After a year of development, Tacriyrus had alsoestablished an intelligence network. The intelligence network now spanned the entire globe.

Maxine also issued an order to closely monitor James’ every move.

Previously, when James was meditating in seclusion at Mt. Thunder Pass in the Southern Plains,Maxine did not come out and cause any trouble.

She did not send anyone to keep an eye on James until he showed up at the Heaven and EarthSect.

“Mhm. Got it. You may leave,” Maxine spoke softly.

“Yes.” The man in armor stood up quickly and left in a hurry.

Only then did Maxine slowly rise to her feet from the stone bench.

Right then, Sky walked over.

Maxine glanced at Sky and said, “Why are you out and about when you could be practicing martialarts and meditating in seclusion?”

Sky looked at Maxine, a smile spreading across his face. “I miss you, so I came out to see you.”

Maxine appeared distant and cold. She did not respond to Sky.

Sky walked over and sat down. “Is there anything significant that has happened recently?” heasked. Sky had been in closed-door meditation since half a year ago, after receiving a mysteriouspurple fruit from Mount Bane, so he had no idea what was going on in the outside world right now.novelbin

All of Tacriyrus’ affairs were currently managed by Maxine.

Maxine said nonchalantly, “Nothing of note, really. A month ago, a very powerful monster appearedon Mount Haven. James came out of seclusion and fought the monster for half a month beforekilling it eventually.”

“Monster?” Sky furrowed his brow.

Maxine did not want to say anything more about this matter. She looked at Sky and asked, “Whatrank is your cultivation base now?”

“Well,” Sky let out a sigh of resignation and said, “I absorbed the purple fruit, but I only managed tobreak the first shackle. Besides, I had previously forced my way up to the ninth rank using theDragon Essence. I was unable to grasp the true essence of cultivation. I can’t sense the presenceof the Empyrean Spiritual Energy either. This is definitely a major obstacle on my path ofcultivation.”

Sky was visibly frustrated. He had used the Dragon Essence to break through the ninth rank byforce, but as of yet he still could not sense the presence of the Empyrean Spiritual Energy.

Maxine said nonchalantly, “Don’t rush. Take your time. There’s still a long time until the apocalypseanyway. Continue on with your cultivation. I have to go out for something.”

Maxine was about to walk away with the Doomsday Sword in her hand.

In a flash, Sky appeared in front of Maxine, blocking her path.
