Chapter 1916

Fwoosh!

An illusory afterimage gradually materialized. Though the appearance of the figure could not bediscerned, they could tell that the figure was a woman.

“Mount Springcastle?”

The figure pointed at the Omniscient Deity and asked, “Are you a disciple of the Telepathic Masterof Mount Springcastle?”

“Yes.”

The Omniscient Deity asked respectfully, “Are you a custodian of the Chamber of Scriptures?”

“That’s right, I’m a custodian of the Chamber of Scriptures.” Though the figure spoke in a melodioustone, her voice was ice-cold.

The Omniscient Deity hurriedly asked, “What is the meaning of this? Why have you trapped her?”

“This is a holy site of mankind. The Demonic Energy she exudes is far too overwhelming. If not forthe human aura she exudes, I’d have turned her to ashes.”

“I…”

The Omniscient Deity was at a loss for words.

James, on the other hand, stared at the illusory figure before him. He was puzzled. Who was thisperson?

Upon hearing Thea’s excruciating screams, he stepped forward and said, “Thea Callahan is my wifeand a kind-hearted woman. There’s no way she’d be a demon.”

The Omniscient Deity chimed in, “She has Demonic Energy inside her body because she absorbedthe blood of the Four Holy Beasts.”

“I know.” Then, the illusory figure said coldly, “Leave this place at once. Otherwise, don’t blame mefor what happens next.”

After she said that, she waved her hand, and powerful energy sent James and the Omniscient Deityflying. Once they flew out of the tower, the entrance immediately slammed shut.

“Thea!” James rushed toward the door and tried to open it. However, no matter how hard he tried,he could not make the door budge.

Swish!

Brandishing the Primordial Dragon Blade, he slashed at the door repeatedly. However, the door wassturdy. Even though he wielded the Primordial Dragon Blade and had broken free of the secondshackle, he could not make a single dent in the door.

The Omniscient Deity panicked and cried out, “Thea has never done anything harmful! Pleasereconsider your decision!”

An ice-cold voice came from inside the tower, “That’s because she’s still weak. Once her strengthincreases, the Demonic Energy will cause her to experience Energy Deviation. This would bringabout a catastrophe for mankind. She has to die.”

“Argh!” Furious, James roared, “I don’t care who you are, but if you dare touch a single hair on her,I’ll tear you to pieces!”

Holding the Primordial Dragon Blade in his hand, he slashed at the door repeatedly. Waves afterwaves of Sword Energy struck the door. However, the door would not budge.

At the same time, on the first story of the tower…novelbin

The illusory shadow gradually materialized. Then, a beautiful woman wearing a white dressappeared.

She stared at Thea who was trapped in the cage as her expression turned cloudy. Clenching herfists, she exuded a terrifying killing intent. However, gradually, she unclenched her fists.

“Should I kill her?”

She was hesitant.

As the custodian of the Chamber of Scriptures, she had heard of the Four Holy Beasts. Naturally, she knew that the Four Holy Beasts had been tampered with and that Demonic Energy targeted themost distinguished and talented humans.

“It would be humanity’s loss if I kill her. But if I spare her life, she might be completely demonizedand wipe out all of humanity.”

She was at a loss.

Thea’s life was now in her hands.
