Chapter 1915

Based on the information left behind by the Omniscient Deity’s master, the Chamber of Scriptureswas left behind by mankind’s ancestors for their future descendants. This place was full of invinciblemartial art skills.

However, no matter how hard James and Thea searched, they could not find anything. Not onlythat, but they could not even locate the entrance to the second story.

James inspected every corner of the story.

After failing to locate the entrance to the second story, James looked at the Omniscient Deity andsaid, “It appears that we won’t be able to obtain the martial art manuals.”

Pensive, the Omniscient Deity scanned his surroundings.

“This shouldn’t be…”

He was puzzled.

This was the Chamber of Scriptures mentioned by his master. But why were there no martial artmanuals here? Could it be that James and Thea were not the fated ones?

He had watched them grow. The two were the youngest and strongest amongst their earthlingpeers, not to mention that they possessed enormous potential. Moreover, they were also connectedto the Four Holy Beasts. If they were not the fated ones, he had no idea what sort of person wouldbe eligible to receive the martial art manuals from the Chamber of Scriptures.

Wait… These were no longer martial art manuals, but instead cultivation manuals.

“Why don’t we give up, then?” Thea said, “There’s nothing here. I don’t think these martial artmanuals exist.”

“Mhm.”

The Omniscient Deity nodded and said, “Since we can’t do anything about this, let’s leave.”novelbin

After speaking, he turned to leave the tower, while James and Thea followed close behind.

The moment they exited the tower, Thea stopped abruptly in her tracks.

“What’s wrong?” James looked at her in confusion.

“M-My blood is churning all of a sudden!” Thea was confounded. Under normal circumstances, herblood would not churn unless she was in an agitated state. Now, however, it began churning for noreason. Powerful energy began leaking from her blood.

“What’s wrong, Thea?” The Omniscient Deity also stopped and turned to look at her.

At that moment, Thea exuded a bizarre aura while her black long hair flowed wavily in the air. Herpupils were blood-red in color, while her expression had turned hideous. It appeared that she wasexperiencing Energy Deviation.

Stunned, James called out to her, “Thea!”

Thea had no idea why she suddenly experienced Energy Deviation. At that moment, her visionblurred as she slowly lost consciousness. Upon hearing James’ cry, she tried to calm herself down, but to no avail.

“How dare a demon like you trespass into a human holy site?” an illusory voice spoke.

Swoosh!

Then, powerful energy came from inside the tower and sucked Thea in.

James rushed into the tower. There, Thea was confined in an iron cage in the middle of it.

Upon witnessing this, James yelled, “Who’s there?! Show yourself!”

As soon as he saw the trapped Thea, the Omniscient Deity’s expression turned grim. “My masteronce told me that are custodians guarding this place. Could this be their doing?” he murmured.

Then, he scanned his surroundings and clasped his fists, saying, “I’m the Omniscient Deity ofMount Jade. Are you the custodian of the Chamber of Scriptures? My master is the TelepathicMaster of Mount Springcastle. He was the one who gave me information about the Chamber ofScriptures’ whereabouts. I came here today with these two to see if they are the fated ones.”

The Omniscient Deity’s voice boomed.

Upon hearing this, James was stunned. It appeared that the Omniscient Deity had kept manysecrets from him.

However, he did not have time to ask questions. James rushed to the iron cage to try and saveThea. Just as he approached the cage, it radiated a black-golden light and exuded a terrifying aurathat sent him flying.

“Thea!” he cried out.

In the cage, Thea’s eyes were blood-red, and she was wearing a hideous expression on her face asblack veins popped up on her face.
