Chapter 7

Elisa paid no attention to Wilson’s phone call. She was currently sitting in the Fischer family car, preparing to meet her husband. Throughout the journey, Elisa was filled with curiosity about herhusband’s appearance. After being in a vegetative state for three years, she wondered if he wouldlook disheveled. She pondered whether he was tall or short, and how old he might be. However, hisphysical appearance didn’t matter much since he provided her with a monthly allowance of onehundred thousand dollars! Once the car arrived at the sanatorium, Elisa stepped out with the butler. It was only when she stood firmly on the ground that she was taken aback by the scene in front ofher. The walls of the sanatorium were tall and the landscaping was well”maintained. However, uponcloser inspection, cameras could be seen everywhere. Elisa followed the butler through three largegates, each requiring repeated facial and fingerprint recognition, before finally entering thesanatorium. Elisa tightly clenched her fingers, feeling that she had married into an extraordinaryfamily. After following the butler into the interior of the sanatorium, a person dressed as a nurseimmediately approached them. “Sir, you’re here.” One of the female nurses hurriedly followed thebutler. The butler led Elisa into the sanatorium and said to the nurse beside him, “This is Mr.Fischer’s newlywed wife. We will need to process her facial recognition, as she will be taking care ofMr. Fischer here in the future.” “Yes.” The nurse felt surprised internally, but didn’t show it on herface. This seemingly ordinary girl turned out to be Mr. Fischer’s wife? What about Mr. Fischer’swife? She was just a tool for the Fischer family to bear children. They got married so that their futurechildren would have a legitimate status. How could Mr. Fischer be attracted to such an ordinarywoman when he woke up! Elisa followed the butler into the most luxurious standalone villa, whichhad been thoroughly disinfected. After taking the elevator to the top floor, they arrived at the specialcare room. Elisa quickly spotted the man sleeping in the room, and her gaze momentarily froze. This man was unbelievably handsome! Especially with his golden curly hair, which was nowradiating a golden glow under the sunlight. Just by looking at his facial features, Elisa could alreadyimagine how he would look when he woke up. He must be incredibly attractive. Suddenly, sheunderstood Anna’s previous confidence. She had a point, Even though this man was currentlyunconscious, he was out of her league. At this moment, she had already guessed what kind of

family she had married into. They were undoubtedly the top-tier aristocratic Fischer family that waswidely rumored about! With so many Fischer families in the world, she happened to encounter themost powerful among them, the elite among elites. She didn’t know if it was a good thing or a badthing… “Master, I’ve come to see you.” The butler respectfully greeted the man on the hospital bed. Then, he turned to the doctor in the ward and said, “Dr. Smith, this is the young Mrs. Fisher.” Dr.Smith glanced at Elisa and nodded slightly, “Mrs. Fisher, this is Dr. Smith. From now on, you willtake care of Mr. Fischer. If you have any questions, just find Dr. Smith.” After saying that, the butlerwhispered something to Dr. Smith, who nodded gently. The butler then gave Elisa a few instructionsbefore leaving the room. In the hospital room, only Dr. Smith and Elisa remained. Suddenly, Elisafelt a sense of restraint as she looked at Robert Fisher lying there. She thought it was such a pity. This scion of a wealthy family must have been nurtured with countless efforts to become anexcellent successor. But at the prime of his life, he had become a vegetable. “How did he become avegetable?” “Mr. Fischer’s yacht collided with an iceberg floating on the sea surface. He suffered asevere head injury and after being rescued from the icy water, he ended up like this. Mr. Fischer hasbeen in a coma for three years.” “Will he wake up?” “If there’s a miracle.” Dr. Smith’s words wereambiguous. “Mrs.Fisher, Anna has already informed you of her desire for you to bear an heir for theFischer family,” Dr. Smith unexpectedly interjected. Elisa felt her face flush and was unsure how torespond to Dr. Smith’s words. She shyly nodded. “Do you need to undergo a test?” “Huh? A test forwhat?” “Your ovulation period,” Dr. Smith stated matter of factly, causing Elisa’s face to turn evenredder. “No, no, thank you!” Observing Elisa’s nervousness, Dr. Smith felt helpless. “Then I will takemy leave. The surveillance has been removed. If you have any questions, simply ring this bell.”After Dr. Smith departed, only Elisa and the man on the bed remained. Elisa approached Robert, gazing at the handsome man sleeping before her, contemplating her next steps. Suddenly, a waveof shame washed over her. She began crossing herself and silently prayed, “Oh God, I hope Mr.Fischer won’t blame me.” She then turned her attention to Mr. Fischer and introduced herself, “Letus become acquainted. I am Elisa Samers, your newlywed wife. Today is our wedding day.” “Robert,I understand that you may not be fond of this arrangement, but I need money to save my mother.Your mother insisted that I bear a child with you, and I have no other choice. A person must honornovelbin

their word and fulfill their promises. If I fail to do so, your mother may not be lenient with me.” Elisaglanced at him, her gaze inadvertently falling on the man’s lower body. She clenched her fists andmentally encouraged herself. “I cannot lose my mother, so I must finish my promise.” Elisa climbedonto the bed, straddling the man. She felt a peculiar sensation beneath her, causing her face togrow even hotter. With her delicate hands, she reached out towards the man, touching his belt…“Mr. Robert, I’m just borrowing something from you…… just borrowing your sperm for a baby!”
