In the meantime, Sophia was laying on her bed when Ian sent a text to her, comforting and telling hernot to be upset.

She rolled over and replied to his text. Right after she hit ‘send’, Logan called her.
Furrowing her brows, she knew that Logan loved to poke his nose into people’s business, so it wasn’tsurprising that he would be calling her now. She picked up his call and said, “Are you calling to consoleme? There’s no need for that because I’m doing quite well.”
“No, Sophia. Listen to me, I have something to tell you,” he said in a serious tone which was unlike him.
After hearing an acknowledgement from her, he continued, “My sis has some connections with themedia and I called her today after John’s news was reported. I asked her to find out if any more newswould be published by the media after this, and just now, she said that the media received newinformation. Do you want to take a look at it?”
Although she was surprised, she still chuckled and agreed, “Sure, what is it and what’s up with you? Isthis information so shocking that you have to use such a tone?”
Sighing, he said, “I’m sending it to you now. You should take a look at it first.”
A few seconds after he hung up, she received his texts which were all pictures.
Opening the pictures, she was surprised at first glance, but she grinned after taking a closer look. novelbin
Then, she called him back and he picked it up without any delay. Apparently, he didn’t believe thepictures to be real and even said, “These aren’t real, are they? How could you be divorced with John?Look at the date! It’s obvious this happened a long while ago. I’ve told my sis to withhold thisinformation. Don’t worry, we won’t let these fake news leak out to the public.”
“I would like to know where these pictures came from and who sent it to the media,” she said instead.
She caught him by surprise with these questions because he had never thought about it. “Hang on, I’llask around because I didn’t think of it.”
After hanging up, she wriggled out of bed and went straight to John’s room, but saw that he wasn’tthere after she pushed open his door.
She then went downstairs and saw him in the yard. Standing at the entrance of the living room, shewatched his back and thought about the divorce certificate in the pictures which belonged to him.
