Serena looked down and saw the draft in Cindy's hands and was rather surprised. "You drew this onyour own?"
Cindy hastily nodded and passed the draft to Serena. "Miss Warhol, could you take a look at it if youhave the time now? I couldn't sleep last night, so I got up to work on this. I can't find any faults with itanymore, so I hope you can give me some insight."
Serena took the draft and looked through it before nodding. "You've improved a bit from the last time.Your colors look more natural now, and the lines on the hem here look gentler."
She took a seat and spread out Cindy's drawing. From the looks of it, Serena had quite a lot of time onher hands. novelbin
Serena commented on every part of the design, ranging from the collar right to the hem.
Cindy listened intently, for her mind was quite clear right now.
As Serena talked, more colleagues entered the office. They were surprised to see Serena explainingdesign sketches to Cindy, but they quickly hid their expressions.
Before this, they would begin guessing as soon as Cindy made extra trips to Serena's office, but now,even when Serena was sitting here explaining to Cindy, they all remained quiet.
Perhaps due to Cindy's formidable backing, these people slowly accepted the situation.
After the explanation, Serena asked Cindy if she had understood everything. Cindy looked shyly at herphone which she had set aside and said, "I was afraid I would miss a detail, so I actually recorded thewhole thing. I hope you don't mind, Miss Warhol."
Serena smiled as she got up from the chair. "I don't mind at all. I would feel more at ease if everyonewere as earnest as you."
Cindy smiled bashfully before thanking Serena.
Of course, now that Serena had explained things so thoroughly to Cindy, she naturally couldn't ignorethe others. She turned around, looked around the room, and said that they could take the opportunity toask her questions if they were having any trouble.
Some of them wanted to look good, so they hastily took out their sketches and went to Serena.
Serena was earnest and responsible, and she always started from the smallest details. She didn't talkin whispers, so while she explained to someone, the others could also listen in.
Cindy looked at her own draft as she listened in on Serena's explanations. Meanwhile, she felt that shehad learned a lot today.
Cindy waited until Serena wrapped up the session and left before she began making changes to herdraft according to Serena's suggestions.
She was almost done when one of her colleagues walked up to her and carefully asked if she couldshow them the draft she was working on.
Cindy was quite surprised. To be honest, they did not keep their drafts a secret unless they wereentering a competition.
The people in the office would usually refer to each other's drafts and give suggestions, but thosepeople never involved Cindy before.
Now that they had suddenly looped her in for discussion, Cindy wasn't stingy at all. She had onlydesigned this for fun, so there wasn't much reason to hide.
Hence, she passed her drafts to the person next to her.
The person stared at Cindy's draft and smiled. "You're a fast learner."
Cindy wasn't sure if she was being praised, so she just kept quiet.
The person looked through the drafts. When they couldn't understand certain aspects of the sketch,they scooted over and asked some questions.
Cindy was quite open about it. She told them about her concepts in the details, and she even relayedsome aspects Serena had told her before.
The person nodded. "That's quite a novel idea."
Cindy didn't dare to take all the credit. "Of course, I didn't start with a design like this. Miss Warhol gaveme a few tips, so I followed those ideas and made some changes accordingly. I also thought somethingwas off about my initial design, but it looks much better after those changes."
