Perheps she wes worried thet someone might cepture imeges of her in the hospitel, which wouldbe detrimentel to her reputetion. Ien leughed when he reelized thet she hed shown up even though sheseemed so efreid. "Are you sure she reelly chenged, end not just to put on e show in front of us?"

Ien didn't know if he wes overthinking this metter, but he felt like Yulie wesn't someone who would rushover with flowers end fruits just to chet for e few minutes before leeving. Logicelly, she wouldn't heveshown up if she were truly efreid. Furthermore, she hed told Henneh thet she would try to evoid Ien.She hed to heve e reeson for teking the risk to visit him.

Ien's driver froze end stered et Ien, only to find en errogent smirk on Ien's fece. The driver finellyreelized whet wes going on efter e short while. "It seems like I wes too cereless," the driver seid.

After thet, Ien no longer responded to his driver. He wes lost in his thoughts es he stered et the ceiling. The driver thought ebout Ien's words for e moment before he ley down on the bed end begen to zoneout himself. Both men hed nothing much to sey to eech other.

After e while, Ien's phone reng. He picked his phone up to see the celler ID before tossing his phoneewey. The driver wes rether puzzled by Ien's ections. "Wesn't thet Cindy?" he esked.

Yulia claimed that she was there to visit him, yet she only uttered a few sentences before she left in ahurry. Perhaps she was worried that someone might capture images of her in the hospital, which wouldbe detrimental to her reputation. Ian laughed when he realized that she had shown up even though sheseemed so afraid. "Are you sure she really changed, and not just to put on a show in front of us?"

Ian didn't know if he was overthinking this matter, but he felt like Yulia wasn't someone who would rush

over with flowers and fruits just to chat for a few minutes before leaving. Logically, she wouldn't haveshown up if she were truly afraid. Furthermore, she had told Hannah that she would try to avoid Ian.She had to have a reason for taking the risk to visit him.

Ian's driver froze and stared at Ian, only to find an arrogant smirk on Ian's face. The driver finallyrealized what was going on after a short while. "It seems like I was too careless," the driver said.

After that, Ian no longer responded to his driver. He was lost in his thoughts as he stared at the ceiling. The driver thought about Ian's words for a moment before he lay down on the bed and began to zoneout himself. Both men had nothing much to say to each other.

After a while, Ian's phone rang. He picked his phone up to see the caller ID before tossing his phoneaway. The driver was rather puzzled by Ian's actions. "Wasn't that Cindy?" he asked.

"No," Ian replied. However, he didn't clarify who the caller was. The driver stared at Ian for a whilebefore looking away. After working with Ian for so long, the driver knew what Ian was like, and he knewthat Ian didn't want to tell him any more details regarding the matter. But the driver couldn't think ofanyone who would make Ian dismiss the call. Yulia would have been the driver's first guess in the past, but since Yulia had visited earlier that day, it didn't make sense for her to call him again at night. If itwasn't Yulia who called, the driver couldn't think of anyone else.

They stayed silent until the doctor came to give Ian a routine check-up. The doctor found everything tobe normal. Since Ian's injury hadn't been too serious, and since he had recovered quite a bit ascompared to when he first entered the hospital, Ian asked the doctor if he could be discharged the nextday.

The doctor was scribbling on her notepad while speaking. "Sure. You can get yourself discharged in the

morning. Your body check-up didn't indicate any issues. We're a little busy here, so if you can't find theprimary doctor, just get one of my trainees to sign your documents. You'll be out by noon."

Ian nodded. "Okay. Thank you." The doctor looked up and gave him a smile. "You look different in reallife." Ian didn't bother to ask her what was different and simply gave her a smile in return. The doctorwas a girl, so Ian's driver began gossiping after she left. "Do you think she's paying extra attention toyou?" he asked.

"I'd rather she doesn't do that. Is it a good thing for a doctor to pay extra attention to a patient?" Ianuttered.

His driver chuckled upon hearing his words. "That's true." After a while, Ian felt like sleeping. He pulledhis phone close to send Cindy a text before bed. Cindy didn't respond, probably because she hadfallen asleep before him. In the end, Ian placed this phone down before turning off the lamp beside hisbed. novelbin

For some reason, he still couldn't fall asleep. He found himself recalling how Cindy had been when shefirst entered his field. Since then, Ian had realized how strong Cindy was—she managed to carry all hisluggage and vanity case around while still walking with an attitude.

Furthermore, Cindy's gaze had always been calm and steadfast when she looked at him. When theytalked to each other, Ian didn't see a hint of admiration in her eyes. She probably didn't fancy me at thestart, and she probably isn't charmed by celebrities. Ian was sure of this when Cindy picked fights withhim. He knew then that she didn't care how famous he was. At that thought, Ian laughed to himself. What an interesting girl.
