Chapter 1973
After the phone call had interrupted her, she lost her inspiration and couldn’t continue drawing anylonger.
When she was about to fall asleep after laying down for a while, the sound of door knocking suddenlyrang out.
However, Cindy didn’t realize that the sound of the door knock was from her house and she was joltedawake when her phone started ringing.
It was a call from Aurora and Cindy sat up from the bed while accepting the call.
At this moment, Aurora asked, “Are you out? I’m at the entrance of your house now.”
When she heard that, Cindy quickly got out of bed and left her room to head for the main door.
When she heard Aurora’s voice coming from the door, she hung up and opened the door to allowAurora to quickly enter the house.
Aurora was beautifully dressed and it seemed like she had gone to set.
After removing her shoes, she went to sit on the couch. “I saw the message that you sent me earlierbut I didn’t reply to it as I was really busy at that time and I only remembered about it now.”
Then, Cindy went toward Aurora and took a seat in front of her before asking about her job. “How’s thematter about the soundtrack going?”
Aurora’s expression looked good. “It’s set. I’ll be singing the soundtrack, but they still need to makesome changes to the lyrics. The filming for the drama has just started, but they haven’t mentioned howlong it’ll take, so I’m still free for now.”
Cindy nodded before she started talking about Leah. “There hasn’t been any commotion from theMorgans for now, but I don’t think that’s a good thing, so I’m reminding you about this so that you guyswill be mentally prepared for it now. It’ll be better if everyone’s prepared in the event that unwantedrumors are spread around again.”
Aurora caught her breath before replying, “I don’t think anything would happen after this since I havealready called and made sure that everything’s alright with Leah. Since she’s cowardly, she didn’t picka high place to jump from and only leaped from the third floor. Besides that, she landed on grass anddidn’t break any bones, so she didn’t sustain any life threatening injuries.”
When she heard those words, Cindy felt relieved as she was really worried for Leah because the articlehad never mentioned any details of Leah’s attempt to jump from a building.
It was common knowledge to respect the dead. When a person died, all of their wrongdoings in thepast would be set aside and if that happened, those who verbally abused Leah would target Cindy andIan instead.

Still, Cindy was curious. “I wonder how Sean reacted to Leah’s actions. Since Ian doesn’t stay withthem, what she did wouldn’t have made an impact on him, so her target probably isn’t Ian.”
Since Sean was staying in the same city as Leah, it was possible that she was trying to force some
reaction out of him.
Nevertheless, Aurora pursed her lips as she wasn’t sure as well. “It’ll be fine as long as Sean isunaffected by her antics because he would surely be wrapped around the fingers of that pair of motherand daughter if he showed any signs of being soft hearted.”
That was what Cindy was worried about as well. Still, she figured that Sean would have thought asmuch as well.
Since both Cindy and Aurora were able to realize this, it was without a doubt that he would probablyhave comprehended the situation.
After discussing Leah’s issue, Aurora crossed her legs before she leaned into the couch. “I saw thosenews online, by the way. Why did so many articles about Ian show up all of a sudden? Although all ofthem are positive articles about him, I’m really afraid that there’s someone trying to stir up trouble forhim.”
Cindy shook her face with a conflicted look. “I don’t know. All of them came out at the same time out ofnowhere. However, Ms. Jones told us that the company will deal with this issue, so hopefully they’ll beable to settle everything smoothly.”
Right then, Aurora asked again, “Did you see the response from Yulia’s side?”
As Cindy hadn’t been reading any tabloids today, she didn’t know what kind of activities Yulia was upto.
Thus, she quickly took her phone and started to surf the Internet upon hearing Aurora’s question beforeasking, “What did Yulia say? Did she push all the responsibility on Ian?”
