It was understandable that Aurora didn’t want to accept Yulia’s resources as she had already rejectedher once.
After saying that, Hannah pondered for a moment before asking again, “Have you guys been in contactprivately?”
Yulia had always known that Hannah was a smart person, so she knew she couldn’t keep the secretfrom her any longer and admitted the truth. Still, she explained everything nonchalantly and toldHannah that Ian and Aurora rejected her approach when she tried to share her resources with thempreviously.
Nevertheless, Yulia was embarrassed to admit that she was trying to poach Cindy’s boyfriend, nomatter how straightforward she was. Hence, she only told Hannah that she admired Ian, so she wantedto help him out, but he preferred to build his own career.
Although it was unknown whether Hannah believed what Yulia said, she carried on with Yulia’s claimsand said, “Ian’s decision is correct. Now that he’s under scrutiny, he might get targeted by others if herises up in his career because of your assistance, and they might release scandals about him if thathappened. I feel like it’s good that he’s taking things step by step now.”
Ian’s backers now were not bad. Besides, the investors could see his potential past his previousscandals, and more of them started reaching out to him to offer him work opportunities now. Evenwithout Yulia’s help, Ian wouldn’t take long to rise with his value now.
At this moment, Yulia hummed in acknowledgment with a hint of a smile on her face. “That’s true. Iknow he has potential, and that’s why I wanted to help him so that he can avoid making wrong steps.”
Hannah pondered for a moment before saying, “You’ve never admired anyone in the past, but yousuddenly thought that Ian is not bad and made so much effort to offer him valuable resources. I bet youowe Ian a favor, don’t you?”
Yulia and Hannah had known each other for years and understood each other, so Yulia knew thatHannah would surely suspect something if she revealed nothing.
Pausing for a moment, she explained, “Truthfully, I’ve got my eyes on Ian ever since he joined thetalent show. Back then, I even tried to campaign for him to help him get more votes. If you ask aroundour mutual friends, all of them would tell you I’ve contacted them and begged them to support Ian. I’msure you understand me well. I don’t just set my eyes on someone randomly, but once I do, I’ll try mybest to help them out.”
Afraid that Hannah still didn’t believe her, Yulia mentioned Cindy as well. “I’ve also run into his girlfrienda few times on different occasions, and she’s a really likable girl as well. I feel like I really like the two ofthem, so I naturally felt like helping them.”
After hesitating for a while, Hannah replied, “I see. If that’s your intention, I can try helping you to takeover these resources.”
Nevertheless, she made herself clear. “Still, I never mentioned your name when I went to discuss thedetails with them, so they might think that the resources are from the company, so they might notrecognize you doing them this favor.”

“It’s fine.” Then, Yulia said congratulatory words, hoping that Ian’s work would go smoothly and hewould be able to be an A-list celebrity without any obstacles.
“If I have any suitable resources for any of the celebrities you’re managing, I’ll share them.”
Nonetheless, Hannah didn’t continue the conversation, and the call ended after they exchangedformalities for a while.
While Yulia was smiling during the call session, her face dropped almost immediately after the callended.
She knew that she was being too rash, and it made her upset that Ian was trying to distance himselffrom her during her call with him previously.
